- Grand Hotel D'Angkor was first established in 1931 and provided accommodation for the wave of travellers for whom the Angkor Temples was an obligatory stopover. Reopened in 1997 after a restoration and refurbishment program by Raffles International, the hotel resumes its position as the premier resort hotel in Cambodia.
