Dear Ms Thanh Binh,

I am writing to thank you very much for all the work you did in organizing our holiday and to tell you how much we enjoyed Vietnam.
From the time we arrived in Ho Chi Minh airport we experienced nothing but courtesy. The handling of our 'visas on arrival' was quick and your representative was there to meet us and take us to the Majestic Hotel, which we found first class. Once again everybody was friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the two tours we did and you local office staff were most efficient and pleasant. We found Saigon a very fascinating city could easily have spent another day there.
Saigon -Phu Quoc was very comfortable and our whole family - 13 of us - thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Once again many many thanks for everything. You should be very proud of your country and its people.
Best wishes for the New Year.
Kind regards,
Howard Woolford

Dear Tuan,
My wife and I want to congratulate you on the planning and execution of our tour to Cambodia and Laos. Every detail was perfect -- the guides were not only knowledgeable, but also kind and helpful. We enjoyed the entire trip immensely, and if you would like to use us as a reference for future possible tourists, we would be glad to oblige.
The only suggestion we can add is that Phnom Penh deserves more than one day. We came in rather late and left the next morning to take the express boat, so did not see any of the sights. However, with that exception, there is nothing about which we can complain.
Many thanks for your help and courtesies.

Dear Mr. Anh Son,
Thank you so much for such a wonderful holiday... Everything went smoothly and we really enjoyed the hotels that you recommended, especially the Continental in Saigon - it just had a really lovely feel to it as soon as we walked into our really spacious room and the Seahorse Resort in Mui Ne was fantastic... We would not have gone there if you had not suggested to us. It is really nice relaxing place.... The room at the Majestic Salute seemed a little small after what we were used to but in a great location - we loved Hanoi, especially around the lakes area... We are really impressed with your service once again and will have no hesitation in using you again next year and recommending you to our friends....... I like the fact that we pay when we arrive - that is a big plus in this day and age...
Thank you so much.

Dear Ms Nga Nguyen,
Thank you very much for organising my hotel booking and train tickets in Vietnam.
At the time I was having trouble with my email (some failures) but you succeeded in doing everything correctly.
Can you please also thank the young lady who came to the Duxton Hotel to deliver train tickets and organise payment. (I'm sorry I've forgotten her name.) She was friendly, polite and efficient and knew her business well.
I will have no doubts in recommending your firm to any travellers who are planning to go to Vietnam.
Also, I was very impressed by the Vietnamese people - warm smiles and friendly attitude just about everywhere.
One outstanding memory from the trip was when I was at Saigon station and needed 2000 Dong to pay for toilet visit. As I was going through my coins an elderly Vietnamese gentleman sitting next to me offered to help with some coins, but I had sufficient. He was a really nice man, and we talked for some time. He had brought his wife to Saigon for hospital treatment and was returning to Nha Trang. He told me how the average Vietnamese was quite poor, and yet he had offered to help with coins for toilet. I wish I had got his address so I could send him a thank you letter.
Also, please pass on my thanks to Hanoi office for booking at Melia hotel. Hanoi was a very impressive city.
So, thanks again.

Dear Ms. Hoai Van,
Warm greetings!
First of all, I wish to thank you for the excellent service we received from your agency. We certainly could not have asked for anything more, and we enjoyed our trip to Vietnam immensely.
It was wonderful that we were able to get a glimpse of your country from north to south given our limited time of 9 days.
Our itinerary was packed as it is, but since we wanted to visit all the world cultural heritage sites in the country, we requested our guide in Central Vietnam to arrange for us a visit to My Son. We were glad to have added this to our tour program. Ideally, given more time, we would have loved to linger in all the places we visited.
Our accommodations were comfortable in all the cities we visited. All our arranged meals were great and thus we learned to really appreciate Vietnamese cuisine. Transportation was also very comfortable.
Our guides and drivers were all commendable – they were always prompt and eager to please us. We would like though to make a special mention of our guide in Central Vietnam, Dzung or Tiger as we came to know him. He did a wonderful job. He never failed to provide a background into the cities and sites we were visiting or even just passing through. He would point out areas, structures of interest along the way en route to our destinations. He would add interesting trivia about the places we visited or the personages related to these places. And he did all these with a highly infectious cheerful disposition. He would crack jokes in a timely fashion. And because he was so cheerful, this helped to hold off any travelers’ fatigue we could have felt. Thus we could fully appreciate the sites visited or merely passed through. He also tried to anticipate every possible need to make our stay more comfortable and pleasant. Please relay our thanks to him, as well as all our other guides and drivers who all did a great job.
We also appreciate your efficient response to our emergency call when our flight from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi was cancelled and we were re-booked on an earlier flight. Despite our early arrival, our guide and driver were waiting for us upon our arrival in Hanoi.
We would love to visit Vietnam again in the future and given this chance, we will surely contact you to engage your services again.
Regards,

Dear Pham Tuyen,
We returned home last week after having an excellent and most memorable experience in Vietnam. Many thanks for all your assistance in arranging the components of the trip. Each part was unique. The trip was like a living history book, combining the culture, sociology, geography and beauty of Vietnam. It is amazing to think that we spent 18 days in Vietnam, were never bored, and in speaking with other tourists, we could easily have spent another five days seeing other areas.
As you know, the entire trip was organized via your website and using e-mail. The speed in which you responded to my e-mails and the precision in which you put the components of the trip together made your travel agency an easy choice.
Once again - thank you for your help. All the Internet sites that recommended Aurora Travel / Vietnamstay.com were correct in giving you the highest recommendations.

Dear Mr. Nguyen,
We are now back in Australia after a wonderful honeymoon holiday in Vietnam. This is just a quick note to thank you very much for organizing our trip and for answering all of my emails so promptly over the last few months. Everything went perfectly and smoothly - accommodation, transfers and Emeraude cruise, which allowed us to relax and to enjoy our time in your lovely country.
We will definitely recommend VietnamStay/Aurora Travel to friends, family or colleagues who are thinking of going to Vietnam in the future.
Thank you again.

Hi Miss Nguyen Nga,
Thank you very much for your help in organizing the tickets. We have now just come back to Hong Kong after a really wonderful time in Vietnam where we met so many wonderful people and were really sad to leave. I am really pleased with the service from your agency and especially appreciate your help in acquiring our Phu Quoc tickets. Needless to say Phu Quoc was well worth it. I will come back to Vietnam some time again soon and will use your agency again and I will also recommend it to my friends.

Dear Ms Hoai Van,
It was good to meet you in Hanoi after all our email correspondence. I am attaching the photo Ngoan took of us. We enjoyed our trip to Vietnam and everything worked out very well and we have many happy memories. The 3 guides and drivers we had were all very good and very pleasant and helpful people. The hotels were excellent and the majority of the meals we ate were also very good. I think on the whole the time we spent in each place was more or less right - any adjustments would have been a half day to explore Saigon on our own, another day in Hoi An to allow for any tailoring and also to enjoy the wonderful 130 meter swimming pool and beach at the Golden Sands, and perhaps a little less time in Hanoi, although we might then not have had time to visit "Silk City" which would have been a great shame. Tell Ngoan that I don't regret any of my purchases and wish I had bought more!!
I was most impressed at your prompt and efficient organization of our holiday. You always replied to my many email queries by return. I would also like to thank Tran Minh Tuan in your Saigon office for arranging for us to have dinner on a floating restaurant on the river when he learnt that it was our wedding anniversary. It was a kind and generous gesture which was much appreciated. Roland also appreciated you arranging for his hat to be sent from Saigon to Hanoi after he left it in the car at the airport.
I will certainly recommend your company to anyone traveling to Vietnam.
With best wishes,

Dear Tuyen,
We are back in Hong Kong after our wonderful stay in Vietnam, and we wanted to say how much we enjoyed your tour. Dao Long is a remarkable guide - we could not have had a better one. We enjoyed his company, and found him to be very informative, and attentive. We also had careful pleasant drivers, especially Tuan. We will be happy to recommend your Company (and especially Long) to everyone, and hope that one day we will be able to visit fascinating Vietnam again (maybe we will have better weather next time!).

Dear Vietnamstay,
We recently used your services in Saigon on Feb 24 and 25 and in Hanoi on Feb 28 and Mar 01. We were extremely pleased in both locations with your prompt and professional approach to all requirements. Everything was on time as promised and the guides and drivers were excellent. The choice of things to see and do were well planned and the lunches were a good mixture of local cuisine. Thank you for making our stay very rewarding.

Quyet:

Greetings from Colorado sir !! We are back home and I am back at work - that is hard after all the good times we had in SE Asia.
I figured I would give you a quick review of the trip for your records. I will break the trip into 3 parts as that makes most sense to me at least. I stated most of this in the "reviews" but figured I would write directly as well.
a) North Vietnam.
we REALLY enjoyed Hanoi and just walking the city and seeing the sites - you live in a dynamic city.
Going to Sapa and to Halong Bay was great although the weather could have been better. No big deal though - we still had a wonderful time in both these very unique settings.
Whin was a great guide. He was low key, seemed to know his stuff and knew when to step back and just let us be on our own - no concerns here.

ISSUES
It would have been nice to understand the weather better ahead of time. It was cooler than expected and moreso I thought we would have seen more sun.
It would have been nice to be given some guidance on tipping drivers and guides. We pretty much went with a $4-6 per day per person rate as this is what we heard from some folks here in Colorado - I hope those numbers were okay - like I said we just had NO idea what to do. I certainly didn't want to give bad tips so if these were bad please accept my apologies.

b) Center Vietnam
much warmer !! Beautiful beaches
In retrospect based upon weather in Hue and the lack of free time in Hoi An we would have just as soon had an extra day of R&R in Hoi An at the Beach and not gone to Hue.
Tiger and Handsome were good guide/driver combinations although Tiger is a bit more "over-concerned" about clients. Even during lunch he checked on things with us - Ann and I are much more relaxed than that and really didn't need the extra attention. No big deal for us but this might be a little overbearing for others.
The Tourist locations we visited in Hoi An seemed a to be a bit more "pressure" than we wanted. The folks at these places really almost expected you to buy something even if we didn't really want or need something. You might consider scaling back on a few of these - those of note (the historic house in Hoi An (the daughter or whoever it was that toured us seemed very upset that we weren't going to but something), and the Marble works "factory" in C Vietnam seemed overly contentious when we just wanted to see what they did - not buy.

c) Cambodia
Getting the tickets was a bit of a hassle but worked out fine and it happened during a rainstorm so we were able to visit a bit with the folks that brought them by - very nice.
Kaden, the guide we had was great (not a single complaint) - The hotel was really good and a great way to finish the trip - another day or 2 would have been great in Siem Reap but we were limited by our time. We had 2 dinners at Khmer shows and one would have been fine and a dinner on our own the second night would have worked out a bit better. Angkow Wat, Angkor Thom etc were really outstanding places to see. I would love to visit S Cambodia and see the beaches there - maybe next time !!

All in all we rate the trip VERY Highly. It was wonderful to be back in SE Asia and to relax, sight see, people watch and eat GREAT food. I would recommend your service to anyone with no concerns (other than that written above) and if we return to SE Asia I would use your services again.

Thank you so much for all your help - I will send pictures in the next few days ....

Dear Ms. Nguyen,
We are now back in Sweden after a long trip to Far East. We wish to tell you that all your arrangements were perfect. When we flew from Scandinavia we had a delay and missed our transfer to Ho Chi Minh City but your staff handled everything in an excellent way.
We really enjoyed our stay in Vietnam. When we go back one day we will certainly contact you again.

Dear Ms Hoai Van,

Thank you very much for all the travel arrangements that you made for our trip to Vietnam & Cambodia.
Everything was very well arranged. There was always someone waiting to pick us up at the airport/boat port or hotels. The three guides that showed us around the Mekong Delta, Phnom Penh & Siem Reap where all very helpful and knowledgeable.
The hotels that we stayed in were all lovely hotels and at Siem Reap we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite. The Victoria hotels at Can Tho, Chau Doc and Phan Thiet are all beautiful hotels and the staff all very charming and attentive.
We very much enjoyed the boat travel from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh and from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. On the trip from Chau Doc we were accompanied by a lady from the hotel who dealt with all the formalities for leaving Vietnam and entering Cambodia.
Thank you also for managing to get us both seats on the flight from Siem Reap to Saigon at short notice.
We very much enjoyed our holiday and will use your services next time we visit Vietnam. We would be very happy to recommend your company to others.

Dear Miss Van,
Once again I have to thank you for your kind assistance during my visit to Vietnam , from the early beginning with the visa up to the arrangements of all the trip.
In particular I was very impressed by your kindness when you extended our reservation in Seahorse and you got the payment only when we visited you in Hanoi.
Be sure we will be back in Vietnam and we will recommend you to all our friends who will visit your country in the future.
I was very impressed by the vivid spirit and will of doing thinks by your people and this will result in great success in the near future of all of you.
Accept our best regards,

Hi Ms. Hoai Van,

Just to say thank you very much for your attention and for the great service. Our trip in Vietnam was really nice and everything was especially organized. We loved the programs, dinners and places we visited. The only thing not good was the problem with the flight from Hanoi to Hué and the rain that disturbed our visit in Hue but this was out of your control.

We'll recommend your service for all of our friends.
