Dear Mr. Pham Tuyen
Just to let you know that we have arrived home via Hong Kong the other day, and
are back at work and in our own wintery world.
We want to tell you how pleased we were overall with the planning and outcome of
our trip to Cambodia and Vietnam. We are soooooooo impressed with Vietnam and
the progress the country is making in recovering socially, economically and
psychologically from the years of bad history and colonization by so many other
countries and ideologies.
We were very pleased with our itinerary and how much we were able to see. We
learned very quickly that it is the route that most visitors take when touring
Vietnam...and we thought it was fun to bump into the same travelers in most of
the same places. We really enjoyed our guides. Two were very special. Tam in
Hanoi is a jewel. We learned so much from him, and he took very good care of us
in our visits to Halong, Sapa, the lake Ninh Bing Province, etc. He taught us a
lot...most of which we were able to use as we moved south toward Saigon. The
other guides we had from Dong Hoi and Nha Trang were also good....but Tam was
special.
Then we reached Saigon and we knew we had won the lottery when we met our guide
Khoa (Nguyen Dinh)! He was like having our own son guide us around. We
immediately made a big bond with him, and he just
couldn't do enough for us. By this time we were very independent. We had learned
to speak enough Vietnamese to make ourselves feel comfortable. Had an excellent
feel for his people and his country. He introduced us to every point of view.
But he kept it all together for us and showed us more and more...until we
thought we might not be able to come home...he made it very seductive to want to
spend more time. We met his extended family in Can Tho his childhood home. He
knew we were interested in the medical system (my husband a doctor) and very
interest in the many programs helping kids at risk (me working in social
worker). He took us to the hospital and to the many social service projects (Tam
and the other guides did also).. He introduced us to many people, he made us
feel like his family. All in all it was a great experience.
We are happy to be home in light of the other bad news of what was happening in
Mumbai and Thailand during our time in Vietnam....but...it was a great trip, a
great experience and we have been sharing it over and over with our friends and
colleagues.
Thanks Pham Tuyen for all that you did to understand what we wanted and make it
happen for us.
Please feel free to share our feelings and our thoughts where they might be
useful to you and others who wish to know about our positive experience.
Also want to mention how good all the drivers are...not so easy to drive in
Vietnam...all made us feel safe while they got us from place to place.
Our fondest regards to you...many thanks again...we feel we got what we
paid for and you did a great job for us.
Our very best to you. Stay well and good luck in all your hard work.

Dear Ms Jody
Thank you for booking us into the Victoria Hoi An. We were very happy on our
arrival to find there was a deluxe beach front double room and what a beautiful
room and view it was – absolute luxury! We had a wonderful 5 days in Hoi An –
waking up in the morning to the beautiful view of the ocean and then the best
buffet breakfast we have seen. The manager and everyone who worked there were so
friendly and happy – we just didn’t want to leave.
So many many thanks for a lovely stay.
Good luck with the birth of your baby
Kind regards

Hi Lisa
We are back at work and our trip to Vietnam is now just a lovely memory,
although we have many photos to look at.
We enjoyed every part of our trip.
Hanoi was "mad" with the traffic and the Old Quarter.
Halong Bay was relaxing - beautiful.
Sapa was our highlight - the H'Mong women, the villages, the scenery - all
wonderful. We could have stayed longer.
The East coast - all great. The tunnels at Vinh Moc were fascinating and a much
better experience to see than the Cu Chi ones further south.
Hue and Hoi An were lovely - although it rained for 2 days at Hoi An!
Nha Trang - a good place to unwind and relax. Nice beach.
Ho Chi Minh City - we did lots of shopping! Visited many markets.
Hotels: all excellent. Without exception. The second hotel we had in Ho Chi Minh
(The Palace Hotel) was in a great location and we were really glad we changed to
there. (the pool was good too)
Guides:
Long (Hanoi/Halong Bay/Sapa) - he was great. He told us we were his last tour,
so that would be a loss for you.
Thiem: (Dong Hoi/Danang/Hue/Hoi An) - excellent. He knew so much about Vietnam.
Being about our age we could really relate to him. He even took us to visit his
new house which was being built. We really enjoyed that.
Hoang (Nha Trang) - His English is not so fluent or clear and we didn't find him
easy to understand. He seemed shyer than the others.
Tam (Ho Chi Minh/Mekong Delta) - excellent - funny - He knew lots about Vietnam
as well.
In all, the guides were excellent.
I also want to say that we were pleased with the drivers we had as well. We
especially liked Trung, the one in the DaNang area (with Thiem) He drove us
around the Hue area and over the Hai Van Pass. He was a very careful driver and
we felt very safe with him. Some of the buses we saw on the road were driven
dangerously so we appreciated the careful drivers.
I don't know what I could say to make the tour any better. Maybe we would have
enjoyed Dalat and we would have liked to see the tea/coffee growing areas, but
we feel we saw a lot of Vietnam and loved it all.
Thank you again for your wonderful organising. We never had to stand around
waiting for a guide, bus, boat, car. Everything ran very smoothly and we
appreciate all the work you put into planning it for us.
We have many friends who are thinking of travelling to Vietnam in the next year
or so and we will certainly be recommending Aurora Travel.
Thanks again

Dear Lisa,
Our trip was perfectly organized and all worked out nicely as planned.
The Victoria Hotel in Hoi An is a very nice place; the only thing which could be
improved in my eyes is the menue in the Annam restaurant there. The Western
cuisine they offer is not up to standard of the hotel and the meal/price ratio
is not either. We and also some other clients missed the fantastic local
cuisine, and thus we escaped to the restaurants downtown or nearby. Maybe you
can give a hint to the hotel management. The breakfast, however, is gorgeous and
the service extremely friendly and meets any wishes we had.
The cruising in Halong Bay was one of the best experiences we ever had. We
recommend it everybody who plans to visit Vietnam. We only partly realized the
variety of the Vietnamese landscape. Whenever we will have a chance we will
visit the northern part up to the Chinese border (train to Sapa and merging into
the local life there). I think you can organize also private accommodation to
experience the every day life.
Thank you very much for making our trip such a rewarding one.
Best regards,
Karl Heinz

Dear Mr Tuyen,
Just wanted to drop you a line to say how we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your
country.
Our whole family was absolutely blown away when we arrived in Saigon. An amazing
place, quite spectacular at night as well. Victor was terrific on our tour and
we often refer to him and his expressions. Thank you. We loved every spot we
went to and we loved going to Mui Ne to relax and wind down before our return.
Would highly recommend your advice on our hotels. Probably should have stayed at
Sunrise at Nha Trang as you had advised however still enjoyed our stay. Loved
the Life Resort and Sailing Club. Have already told a few people about your
organising our trip and I'm sure there will be business coming your way soon.
All our drivers drove very well and were punctual and reliable. Loved the fact
that we were picked up at airport as then there are no worries re getting to
your destination.
Thank you once again and we will definitely return to Vietnam one day and maybe
explore the north more.

Hello Lisa,
Thank you for your email regarding our trip to Cambodia.
We were extremely happy with the services provided, as mentioned in
regard to Cambodia, we acknowledge that Cambodia is a developing country and we
understand this. We felt both guides and drivers were polite, punctual, had a
good understanding of english and went out of their way to help us with any
extra queries that we had. We found that Cambodia's charm came from their
eagerness to please and gratefulness of tourists visiting their country.
We we also extremely happy with all of the restaurants that we were taken to.
We were also happy with you Lisa at Aurora's organisation of our trip and safety
in trusting you with any payments that needed to be made.
We will definitely be recommending Aurora Travel to our friends and family here
in Australia and hope to one day travel again with Aurora, possibly to Laos and
also back to Cambodia.

Dear Vicky
I take great pleasure in providing some feed back on our recent visit to your
beautiful country.
As you may be aware compared to other S.E Asian destinations, Vietnam is still
not an extremely popular tourist destination to the Australians. How ever I am
confident this will change very soon and there will be a great influx of
tourists from Australia & other western countries, since Vietnam has so much to
offer.
Firstly on behalf of my wife and our friends Percy & Kanthi I wish to
thank you for arranging such a varied & enjoyable tour for the short duration.
We all thought another additional 3 to 4 days would have been good. You organised all aspects of our tour in a very professional manner and I thank you
for that.
Without going into too much detail some of the highlights of our tour would be
as follows:
Visit to the war museum was a great eye opener. A great sense of sadness was felt by all of us for the torment your people have gone through. I hope every
visitor to Vietnam spends some time at this venue to get an understanding on affects of War.
The cruise on the Saigon River, overnight cruise on Jasmine at Ha Long Bay
visiting the floating village & other natural lime stone Islands was magical.
Preservation of this bay in a pristine condition is commendable.
The boat crise along Mekong Delta exploring the natural water ways and lush
greenery was a pleasurable experience. In a world where all countries including
Australia is experiencing a severe shortages of water; to see such vast amounts
of water every where in Vietnam is a blessing.
Nha Trang beach is magical; we all enjoyed a dip in the Sea in the morning
hours. The hotel we stayed at 'Nha Trang Lodge' is located in such a beautiful
spot, how ever compared to the other hotels we stayed at, the service &
facilities at this particular venue was poor. Grand Hotel in Saigon & Hoi An
Beach resort were excellent.
All Domestic flights through Air Vietnam were very good, on schedule and cheap !
The coaches, drivers & your Tour Guides were excellent. Special mention to your
Tour guide at Danang ; he was very knowledgeable, and extremely courteous. All
of them were on time and very patient. May I suggest that if you can provide
cheap polystyrene boxes (we call an Esky) to keep the water bottles & face wipes
cold it will be very refreshing. The tour guide at Danang had one in the coach.
As a general comment I would like to say Vietnam overall is a beautiful country
with friendly people ; a vast variety of food to cater for all tastes.
Having travelled to many countries all over the world including Americas,
Europe, S.E Asia etc I am happy to note every place we visited in Vietnam is
clean, people are clean & above all we felt safe walking along the streets. Un
fortunately this is not the case with so many other countries.
We have no hesitation in recommending Aurora as a great Tour agency to any
prospective tourists.
In closing let me say we hope to re visit Vietnam in the near future.
If you need any additional details of a particular aspect of the tour pl. do not
hesitate to let me know.
Regards,
Eric Perera

Dear Ms Huyen,
Our group are all safely back in Australia and I am sure that we all wish we
were still in Vietnam.
Thank you so much for your wonderful organisation for our group - there was not
a glitch in the arrangements and we all loved every minute.
The Metropole was a very good choice for a group, the Ginger Boat was
sensational and the Zephyr while not quite as homely as the Metropole was well
located in Hanoi.
Thank you for your patience with helping us to arrange our schedule. We hope to
have the chance to visit Vietnam again in the future and would certainly employ
the services of Aurora Travel to do so.
Kindest Regards

Dear Ms Thuy Hai,
We are now back in the Philippines, and it is with nostalgia whenever we look
back to our short trip to Saigon. It was a very relaxing and informative tour
for us. Honestly, we were quite surprised by the smoothness of the trip, we
never imagined that, seeing that it was all arranged through series of emails
only. We're truly glad that we were directed to your website when I was browsing
the net.
The tour was very informative, from the Cu Chi Tunnel, War Museum, Reunification
Palace down to the Mekong Delta. Our stay in the Grand Hotel was also
satisfying, as the staff were all courteous and friendly. But the one person who
made the trip all the more worthwhile is Mr Hiep. He is just like a fountain of
information on Vietnam's history, it was quite amazing! Although we couldn't
keep track of every morsel of information he hands out, it was enjoyable just
listening to him spew forth all those data . It gave us a somewhat deeper
understanding of what happened in Vietnam during its tumultuous past.
He also taught us one life-saving skill needed to survive in Saigon: how to
cross the streets! Hahaha (the motorcycles seemed to appear out of nowhere!)
We would also want to thank our courteous drivers, Mr Vin and Mr Tien (I hope I
got their names right).
When we saw the pictures in the War Museum, I, for one, was deeply affected. I
never imagined the hardships that your people went through. It was deeply
moving, to the point that I have to take a break in between to collect myself,
lest I embarass myself there by crying.
Anyway, needless to say, it was quite a memorable trip. We hope to be back soon
to explore the other places in Vietnam. I have recommended your services to some
of my friends, hopefully, some of them might just make it there.
Again, thank you!
Be well always!

Dear Mr Tuyen,
I just thought that I should write to say a big thank you to you, your company,
and our amazing guides for showing us such great time in Vietnam and Cambodia.
I am sorry I haven't written sooner, adapting to life back at work after such a
great adventure has been far harder than I imagined. The two weeks we spent in
Vietnam and the few days in Cambodia will life on a long time in our memories.
You organised a smooth flowing tour and your choice of guides was perfect. We
learnt a lot about the country and its peoples through the insight of Mr Pham
Trung Dzung (North), Truong Thi Duyen (middle), and Thay (south). Please could
you send the guides our warmest thank yous.
We will definitely be recommending you your company and guides to our friends
and hope to be back again soon.

Dear Ms Nga Nguyen and all at Aurora Travel,
Many thanks for all your help with booking our wonderful holiday to Vietnam. We
have the most fantastic time and loved every minute of our holiday. We would
love to come back soon, as we all think Vietnam is such an interesting country
and there is so much more to see and do that we did not even cover.
Everyone we met was just lovely and so helpful. All the arrangements you booked
from the hotels, tours and guides etc was just perfect. It is hard to say which
was the best part of the holiday, we enjoyed Hanoi & Halong Bay very much as
well as Hue which was fascinating and Mr Hoa was a terrific guide so
knowledgeable about all the Vietnamese history we found his tour very
enlightening. We also loved Hoi an and the beach was terrific for swimming which
we love to do. Ho Chi Minh is a bustling city and we got the hang of crossing
the roads eventually ! what an experience.
If we do visit Vietnam again we will certainly use your services and am happy to
recommend you company to anyone.

Hello Ms Ton
We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our visit to Vietnam and what a
great job you did with the Oscar and with our guide Nguyen Van Khoa. He was so
nice and fun and very informative. We really enjoyed her. The tour to the Delta
was also great as was that lunch when we stopped on the boat and so was the one
at the welcome center. All in all it was a really good time.
We will recommend you if we have any friends heading to Vietnam. If you need any
referral you are welcome to give someone my email.

Dear Le Thanh Huyen/Ms
What a fantastic holiday! Everything went so smoothly and the guides were great.
The lunches were way above our expectations. We didn't realise that it would be
a real taste sensation of Vietnam! We expected simple light lunches, and were
surprised at the variety offered to us.
Your country was such a beautiful ,
interesting place to visit. At all time we felt safe, both with the drivers and
walking by ourselves around the cities and villages. Thank you.
Kindest regards, and fondest memories.

Dear Ms. Huyen
My husband and I booked a tour of Vietnam with you in March and I wanted to let
you know how wonderful it was! Everything about the tour surpassed our
expectations! Our tour guides and drivers were fantastic. We especially enjoyed
being with Ha in Hanoi, who met us at the airport on our return from HoChiMinh
City even though he had another tour group at the time..it meant alot to us to
see his familiar face.Than, in Hue, was also a wonderful guide...When he sang to
us about his city Hue, we knew he loved it there...and so did we! Our guides all
knew the history of Vietnam so well, and were able to answer all our questions
(and we had alot of questions!)
Thank you for modifying our tour to include the extras i.e. going to Mui Ne and
also the Perfume Pagoda...both excursions we enjoyed SO much!
We loved Vietnam and are being ambassators for your country telling everyone we
know about it and encouraging our friends to go and to use Aurora Travel when
they do!
The hotels were just great..we enjoyed all our accomodations..Bill left his
eyepod in the computer room of the Anise Hotel and when he called to see if it
was there the hotel employee said a cleaning person had found it and turned it
in and Bill received it this week! That sure said alot about the honest people
who work there.
Thank you for planning such a wonderful trip for us! We will DEFINITELY book
with Aurora Travel again.

Hello Ms Ton Binh
I am writing to thankyou and VietnamStay for helping us plan advise and book our
3 week holiday in Vietnam during March and April. We booked the entire content
of our stay through you over the internet using your website and email. This
included all internal flights, hotel transfers an hotel bookings and tours to
the Mekong Delta, Sapa and Halong Bay.
I must say at the outset that our group of four had a marvellous holiday in your
country. The service provided by your company was first class. All travel
arrangements went smoothly and your responsiveness to our request for a change
of late change in hotels in Hanoi (in order to experience a different part of
Hanoi City) was handled very efficiently by you. Being able to pay on arrival in
Ho Chi Min and then being able to pay for further services at your office in
Hanoi was very convenient.
Highlights of our trip include the trip to Sapa on the Victoria train where our
guide Ha took us on fabulous walks and took great care making sure our interest
was met with his in depth knowledge of the area. Our Guide Zoom Zoom (at least
that is what we called him) was a wonderful guide on our Halong Bay trip. He was
very knowledgeable and took us on great kayak excursions over the 3 days. The
Dolphin Junk was very comfortable and the food was fantastic.
Both Ha and Zoom Zoom were keen to make our visit very enjoyable and worked hard
to make sure the needs of our group were catered for.
I cannot speak highly enough of how our holiday was such a wonderful adventure
of history, beautiful landscapes and very friendly helpful local people.
Our trouble free holiday was due largely to your helpfulness Ms Ton Binh and the
professional services provided by VietnamStay. I would not hesitate to recommend
you to our friends.

Dear Ms Giang
So we are finally home, true but sad. We have enjoyed our stay very, very much
and what also should be mentioned is your arrangement, support and interest in
our well-being, it has been fantastic. None of our hotels or other arrangements
has been of disappointment; on the contrary they have fulfilled all our
expectations.
I’ll gladly pass this information to our friends and relatives for their future
need. We are already now planning for a return trip and I therefore wonder if
you have any possibilities to check and arrange international flights?
The international flights are the most expensive thing in our budget and if we
could “Shrunk” that expense it would make the whole thing easier. Vietnam
Airlines maybe?
Once again, many thanks for all your help!

Dear Ms. Giang,
I would like to give some feedback regarding our Vietnam Stay in
January/February 2008 for the Vietnamstay.com website.
Vietnam is a wonderful country and we will return many times! It is even more
breathtaking that what you can see in the movies! It is super friendly and we
felt very welcome everywhere.

Interncontiental Hotel Westlake in Hanoi is well work every USD, it is an
amazing hotel!
We travelled from london to Hanoi, stayed there for a few days and then down to
Quy Nhon. The difference in the landscape is amazing but the landscape is
captivating. Quy Nhon is a wonderful place and we stayed at the Life Resort and
this is pure bliss for stressed Londoners! The spa is gorgeous, the food lovely
and the staff just great.
During our travel we booked parts through Aurora Travel in Hanoi who was a
helpful, friendly and very professional service. Everything worked like
clockwork and it made the journey so much easier.

It is hard to get better service anywhere! Communication was perfect and no
efforts spared to help find all the best possible options. Their network is
extensive and I would recommend them to anyone who is planning to go to Vietnam!
We can't wait to plan our next trip to Vietnam and see more of your beautiful
country!

Hi Pham
Just wanted to send you a quick email to say thanks very much for an excellent
trip. We certainly appreciate all the work you put into customising our requests
and organising the schedule. The hotels were all very good, especially the Morin
in Hue & the Sofitel Metropole in Ha Noi.
We would also appreciate it if you could pass on our thanks to all the guides &
drivers, all of which were excellent & very knowledgeable of their areas.
The trip was informative and a good introduction to the South East Asia region,
of particular note were the floating markets in Can Tho, the Imperial Palace at
Hue and of course the Angkor complex at Siem Reap.
We have already passed on your details to a number of friends who have expressed
an interest in visiting, so hopefully at least some of them will actually make
the trip.
Thanks again

Hi Giang, You may consider us very satisfied customers!
Long was excellent. He was always right on time (or early), communicated well,
made sure we were OK along the way, and represented your company and your
country really well.
Each of the drivers did an excellent job.
The Majestic Salute staff was very good. The suite we had the last night was
really nice. Had it been available for all the nights, I would have gladly paid
more to have the larger, nicer room.
Thanks again for the excellent job you did and for the consistently fast answers

Hola Gloria,
Gracias por tu correo y por tu cálida acogida. Ha sido un placer
conocerte.

pag. web http://club.telepolis.com/calatea
bonito - Chau long new wing (Sapa)
bonita habitacion y bonito hotel.
destacar Restaurante Kinh bac cool (ho chi minh) y restaurante Mekong rest stop

To Mr. Pham and all the staff at Aurora Travel,
Thank you for a wonderful "Charming Indochina" tour. All the arrangements went
perfectly. The guides and drivers were always prompt and very knowledgeable. We
enjoyed getting to know each one a little, personally. The hotels were lovely,
some even exceptional. All the activities planned for us were very interesting.
We loved all the food, maybe a little too much because we managed to gain some
weight. Ho Chi Minh City was decorated spectacularly for Tet and we were lucky
to see the special concert on the giant stage beside the Opera House.
Most of all, though, we loved Vietnam and its people.

Dear Ms Thuy Trang,
Now that we are back in England, I just wanted to let you know that all the
arrangements you made for us went well. All the flights were on time save our
last one Hanoi to Hong Kong which was 4 hours late. The hotels were excellent -
especially in Hanoi, which was very well located. The visit to the Mekong was
interesting with your excellent guide. So thank you very much for your very
efficient service, which my wife and I really appreciated.
It was also good to meet you. We really enjoyed our visit to Vietnam. Sadly the
weather in the north was cold and wet which rather spoiled our visit to Sapa but
the train and the Victoria Hotel were excellent. My wife also enjoyed the
shopping......
Thank you again for making our holiday in Vietnam such a success - we are very
grateful
With best wishes,
Christopher Wolverson

Dear Mr. Pham Tuyen,
I would like to thank you for the tour that was very well organized and your
team is very experienced.
Your country is so beautiful and has so many things to show.
We will recommend your company and your country to our friends.
In few years we will return in your country to see the places which we could not
see due to the short period of time.
I wish you all the best and good luck.
