In order to promote and restore tourism after the travel barriers have been removed, from October 12, Vietjet will launch a direct Phu Quoc - Bangkok route connecting the pearl island of Phu Quoc (Kien Giang, Vietnam) with Bangkok (Thailand), providing opportunities for citizens of the two countries and tourists to travel conveniently and flexibly at an affordable price.

According to Vietjet, the direct Phu Quoc - Bangkok route from Phu Quoc International Airport to Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) will have 4 flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a flight time of about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

In addition, Vietjet added that besides the direct Phu Quoc - Bangkok route, it would continue to operate direct flights between Bangkok - Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City/Da Nang and the only direct flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Phuket. At the same time, from September 1, Vietjet will re-operate the Ho Chi Minh City - Chiang Mai route to serve the purposes of tourism and pilgrimage of tourists at the end of the year.

In general, Vietnam and Thailand have both restored the same entry conditions as before, welcoming visitors to explore their favorite destinations. In particular, Thailand's new policy, which is applicable to tourists from more than 50 countries, including Vietnam, permits travelers to remain up to 45 days starting in October, rather than the previous limit of 30 days.
