    1. THAILAND 

     Thailand eases entry rule from 1 May 2022. Pre-arrival and arrival checks lifted.
     
    Pre-Departure for Thailand
     
    1. Fully Vaccinated Persons:
     
    • Register on Thailand Pass: Apply for Thailand Pass QR Code at https://tp.consular.go.th/ any time within 60 days in advance of your departure date. You are counseled to sign in as a minimum 07 days before your departure date. Applicants can use their approved Thailand Pass QR Code to enter Thailand on different date of arrival if the new date of arrival is within 7 days before or after the original date of arrival as indicated on the QR Code (no need to re-apply or modify your application)
    • Attach required documents including passport, certificate of vaccination
    • Attach evidence of coverage with as a minimum 10,000 USD insurance for medical treatments in Thailand (for non-Thais only)
    • (COVID-19 test, each previous to and after arriving in Thailand, is no longer required)
     
    2. Unvaccinated persons
     
    • Option 1 - Exemption from quarantine - Travelers with a negative RT-PCR test result issued within 72 hours before traveling must:
    - Register on Thailand Pass
    - Attach required documents including passport, and COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued within 72 hours before traveling (must attach on Thailand Pass only)
    - Attach proof of insurance with at least 10,000 USD coverage for medical treatments in Thailand (for non-Thais only)
    - (Any COVID-19 test after arriving in Thailand is not required)
     
    • Option 2 – Quarantine - Travelers who cannot undergo an RT-PCR test result within 72 hours before traveling or wish to be quarantined must:
    - Register on Thailand Pass
    - Attach required documents inclusive of passport, Alternative Quarantine (AQ) hotel confirmation for 5 days (including 1 RT-PCR test)
    - Attach evidence of coverage with as a minimum 10,000 USD insurance for medical treatments in Thailand (for non-Thais only)
    - Undergo an RT-PCR test on Day 4 - 5 in Thailand during the mandatory 5-day quarantine at AQ hotel

    Arrival
     
    • Present the required documents and Thailand Pass QR Code to the Health Control to check and proceed through Immigration Procedures.
     

    2. CAMBODIA 

    From 17 March 2022, Cambodia definitely re-opened the country for international tourist. 

    • NO test earlier than departure and NO check on arrival, NO quarantine on arrival. 
    • Visa-on-Arrival additionally restored (Guests also can also practise for earlier for at Tourism E-Visa type T at https://www.evisa.gov.kh/).
     
    Condition to visit: 
     
    • Proof of complete vaccination against Covid-19 as a maximum 14 days previous to departure to Cambodia.
    • Unvaccinated children below 18-year-olds traveling with parent will be applied policy as their parents.
    è That is absolutely vaccinated tourists just need to buy air tickets and can fly to Cambodia
     

    3. VIETNAM 

    Vietnam government has reopened the country for international tourists. NO quarantine, NO test, with flexible visa conditions with Visa exemption, E-visa and Visa on Arrival, all make the visit to Vietnam is very easy.

    Condition to visit: 

    • VISA: If a tourist is not  belongs  to 15 countries that Vietnam offer unilateral visa exemption in Europe: Belarus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the U.K., Russia, and) and 2 countries in Asia: Japan, South Korea; then the tourist can apply for E-visa at: https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/trang-chu-ttdt or contact us for the Approval Letter for Visa-on-Arrival

    • INSURANCE: Having a medical insurance covering COVID treatment with a minimum coverage of US$ 10,000.

    Arrival:

    • Install software for COVID-19 disease prevention during the stay in Vietnam: PC-COVID (in Vietnamese, English only). For travelers who communicate different languages, simply install this App, no need to fill form inside the app. 

    • Monitor health condition during the stay in Vietnam. Notify us if having any sign of Covid symptoms, so that we can assist.

    4. LAOS
     
    From 9 May 2022, Laos is opening all international borders to foreigners and Lao nationals.
    • Visas on arrival are being reinstated at “worldwide borders as available”. Foreigners can also apply for visas at distant places Lao embassies and consulates and e-visas. Citizens of countries granted visa waivers can enter without visa requests.
    • NO check before departure and NO test on arrival, NO quarantine on arrival. 
    Condition to visit: 
    • Evidence of complete vaccination against Covid-19 at a maximum 14 days prior to departure to Laos.
    • Those without a complete vaccination certificate who are more than 12 years old must obtain a rapid (ATK) COVID-19 certificate within 48 hours of departure. Laos will not offer testing at airports or international borders through road or boat.
    • “Foreigners coming into Lao PDR who contract COVID-19 will be responsible for all treatment costs,” at hospitals or home isolation in line with Ministry of Health (MoH) instructions.
     

    5. SINGAPORE 

    This travel checklist is for travellers entering Singapore from 26 April 2022 and Fully vaccinated against COVID-19; OR Aged 12 and below (i.e. born in or after 2010) and not completely vaccinated:

     
    Pre-Departure for Singapore
     
    • Ensure that your passport is available for a maximum 6 months.
    • Short term visitors holding passports or travel documents issued by visa-required countries/regions should also click here to check if visa is required and to apply for an Entry Visa
    • If you are aged 13 and above, ensure that you have the necessary proof of vaccination for pre-boarding and immigration checks: If you have a recognized Digitally Verifiable Vaccination Certificate (DVC), use the Vaccination Check Portal (VCP) to verify that your DVC is recognised by the Singapore authorities. The VCP will issue a vaccination acceptance letter if the verification is successful, which you can use for boarding and immigration checks. If you are unable to get your DVC verified, troubleshoot your submission with the vaccination certificate FAQ. If still faced with uploading issues, refer to the instructions below for travellers without DVCs. If you do not have a DVC, or had difficulties verifying your vaccination certificate on the VCP, ensure you have a Vaccination Certificate (including certificate on a vaccination app) that is in English, or accompanied with notarised English translation, with the following details:
    - Name (per travel document used for entry)
    - At least one other personal identifier, e.g.date of birth or passport number (per travel document used for entry)
    - Name of vaccine(s) administered
    - Vaccination date(s)
    • Travellers are strongly recommended to finish the web SG Arrival Card (SGAC) with Electronic Health declaration earlier than, up to 72 hours before arrival in Singapore. The SG arrival card (SGAC) is a simple and free arrival declaration of your travel and health details. You are exempted from submitting your SGAC if you are a Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or Long-Term Pass Holders arriving by Land. Upon the completion of your SGAC, you will receive an email acknowledgement which you can present for smoother pre-boarding and immigration checks.
     
    Arrival to Singapore
     
    • For foreign visitors, an e-Pass (i.e. Visit Pass) stating the period of stay granted will be issued via the email address indicated in SGAC. Passports will no longer be stamped.
    • If you are symptomatic on arrival, you may be directed to take a COVID-19 test. Each Antigen Rapid Test (ART) administered will cost S$30, while each COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction Test (PCR Test) will cost S$138.
    • Install TraceTogether mobile application and only activate after clearing immigration. Only travellers aged 6 or below this year are exempted from installing TraceTogether. If you encounter issues activating TraceTogether:
    - Submit a request for assistance to support@tracetogether.gov.sg; OR
    - Collect a TraceTogether token after arrival for a one-time fee of S$13
    • For all other non-fully vaccinated travellers, entry to Singapore is not allowed unless entry approval is obtained
     
    During stay in Singapore
     
    • All travellers must comply with the latest public health measures. This includes the use of the TraceTogether app for the identification of close contacts of a positive COVID-19 case, and/or showing proof of vaccination in settings where Vaccination-differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) apply.
    • If you are vaccinated overseas, your vaccination status will be reflected on the HealthHub or TraceTogether mobile application after arrival in Singapore. If your vaccination status is inaccurately reflected, use this form for assistance.
    • Visit the Ministry of Health website for the latest public health measures.
     
    6. MALAYSIA 
     
    From May 1, Fully vaccinated visitors and kids elderly 12 and below are exempted from pre-departure and on-arrival tests. Partially or not vaccinated travellers must take an RT-PCR test 2 days earlier than departure and a supervised RTK-Ag test within 24 hours of arrival. They will also have to quarantine for 5 days  Book your quarantine facilities here.
     
    Pre-Departure 
     
    • Ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months.
    • Fully vaccinated visitors: NO check earlier than departure and NO test on arrival, NO quarantine on arrival. 
    • Travellers are required to download, register, and activate the MySejahtera app;
    • All travellers arriving by air or sea into Malaysia are required to complete the digital pre-departure Form (DPDF). The DPDF can be found under the ‘Traveller’ icon on the MySejahtera application. 
    • For travellers with COVID-19 digital vaccination certificates issued overseas, please verify your digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate here before departure. For definition of fully vaccinated in Malaysia as of 1 April 2022 you can find here
     
    Arrival 
     
    • Travellers will go through a fever screening with a thermal scanner or via self-referral to a health worker if they have symptoms for further examination at the health counter at the international entrance (PMA).
    • The asymptomatic traveller will proceed to the immigration counter for further review.
     
    7. INDONESIA 
     
    Visa Requirements 
     
    Before departing to Bali, you need to prepare yourself with the information about the Visa and requirements to enter Indonesia. 
    • Entering with Visa on Arrival and Visa Exemption Facility: 
    • According to the Circular Letter of the Directorate General of Immigration No. IMI-0549.GR.01.01 of 2022 concerning the Ease of Immigration to Support Sustainable Tourism during the COVID-19 Pandemic effective from 6 April 2022, below are the list of countries and special entities for Visa On Arrival (VOA), in alphabetical order (valid for 30 days - USD 35):

    Please notice that VOA and Visa Exemption Facility are only available in Ngurah Rai International Airport. More information about the regulations and law for VOA and Visa Exemption Facility can be read on this link and can be summarized as follows according to the circular note from The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia No. SE/00035/PK/04/2022/64:

    • Visit Visa Exemption or Visa on Arrival for Leisure Purpose may be issued as a result with the following requirements:

    o Passport (diplomatic/official/ordinary) that is valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months, A return ticket or a pass to continue the trip to another country,

    o Proof of payment of PNBP Visa on Arrival of 500,000 IDR (in the case of applying for a Visa on Arrival for Leisure Purpose), and

    o Proof of ownership of health insurance which includes financing for handling COVID-19 and medical evacuation to a referral hospital.

    • The entry stamp on the granting of a Visit Visa Exemption or Visa on Arrival for Leisure Purpose will be valid as a Visit Stay Permit with the certain period, as follows:

    o Visit Visa Exemption: maximum 30 days and cannot be extended.

    o Visa on Arrival: maximum of 30 days and can be extended once for another 30 days at the Immigration Office in the area where the foreign national lives. 

    • Visit Visa Exemption or Visa on Arrival for Leisure Purpose can also be granted for foreign nationals on official visit or government duties to attend international events, for which shall be applied additional requirement: to enclose an invitation letter issued by the Indonesian government to attend the international conferences/trials/meetings.

    • The provision of Visit Visa Exemption or Visa on Arrival for Leisure Purpose as stipulated above applies to holders of diplomatic passports, service passports, or ordinary/general passports. 

    • Entering with E-Visa: According to the Circular Letter of the COVID-19 Task Force Number 17 of 2022 concerning Health Protocol for International Travel during the COVID-19 Pandemic, international travelers can also enter through I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport and Tanjung Benoa Seaport, Bali. Travelers who are not listed among the above-mentioned countries can travel to Bali by applying e-visa before departure.

    Pre- Departure 

    There will be stricter health protocols for both Indonesian and foreign travelers entering the country. They will need to comply with the following requirements before traveling:

    • Show proof of your full vaccination against Covid-19 – to be considered ‘fully vaccinated’ you must’ve received the second dose of your vaccine at least 14 days prior your departure. Travellers aged between 0-17 years are not required to show proof of vaccination 

    • Foreigner travelers must have health insurance (coverage of at least US$25,000) and can cover the needs for COVID-19 treatment; and 

    • Download the PeduliLindungi application before your arrival – you are required to create an account and register your details on this.

    • Register your e-CD(ElectronicCustomDeclaration) – for those arriving into Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport this is done online http://bcngurahrai.beacukai.go.id. However, if you are arriving into the main airport in the country’s capital of Jakarta, you will need to complete the online form http://ecd.bcsoetta.org. 

    Arrival

    When you have arrived in Bali, there are several measures you need to take before you can continue your trip. According to the Circular Letter of the COVID-19 Task Force Number 17 of 2022 concerning Health Protocol for International Travel during the COVID-19 Pandemic, as of 5 April 2022, all international travelers, whether they are Indonesian citizens or foreign nationals, should comply with all the detailed regulations on this link.

    • Checkpoint 1: Upon arrival, travelers will be sorted into their categories as well as data collection by airport officials.

    • Checkpoint 2: All passengers will head towards the health document verification area, which includes being checked for their vaccination certificates, e-HAC forms

    • Checkpoint 3: All passengers will be taken to do a health check by health officials to see if they have symptoms of COVID-19.

    • Checkpoint 4: Passengers will then go through immigration and customs.

    • Checkpoint 5: After immigration, passengers will wait at a holding area under the supervision of personnel from the airforce. 

    • Checkpoint 6: Passengers will be allowed to continue on their journey.

    Quarantine for foreign travelers

    Quarantine is no longer required for those who have received the complete dose of vaccine at least 14 days before the departure time. If the foreign traveler is double vaccinated or has received a booster jab, then they do not require quarantine.

    • If the foreign traveler has only received one dose of vaccination, they must quarantine for 5 x 24hrs, and undertake a second PCR test on the 4th day of quarantine.

    • The quarantine hotel and PCR tests will be at the expense of the foreign traveler. If the result is positive, the traveler will be referred to a COVID-19 hospital – where costs will be borne by the foreign traveler.

    • Foreign travelers under the age of 18 (eighteen) years and/or require special protection can follow the quarantine period provisions imposed on their parents or caregivers.

    • Please make sure that you are tested by the affiliated laboratories so that the results will be directly connected to the PeduliLindungi app.

    8. PHILIPINES
     
    Philippines is open to fully vaccinated international tourists from non-visa required countries. Check the list of non-visa required countries on the DFA website:
     
    Travel requirements in entering the Philippines for your reference:
    • Traveling with the purpose of business or tourism, provided they are:
    - Former Filipino Citizens
    - Citizens of the following countries https://dfa.gov.ph/list-of-countries-for-21-day-visa.
    • Fully Vaccinated, except minors below 12 years old
    • Proof of vaccination:
    - World Health Organization International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis, OR
    - VaxCertPH (if vaccinated in the Philippines), OR
    - National/state digital certificate of the foreign government which has accepted VaxCertPH under reciprocal arrangement unless otherwise permitted by the PH Gov’t
    • Negative RT-PCR Test taken within 48 hours OR a negative laboratory-based antigen test taken within 24 hours prior to departure from the country of origin
    • Valid Return tickets to the original port of origin or next port of destination for not more that 30 days from the date of arrival in the Philippines
    • Valid passport for 6 months on the time of arrival in the Philippines
    • Travel Insurance for COVID-19 treatment with minimum coverage of US$ 35,000
    • All travelers must (e-HDC), including children. Declare your personal information, health status and travel history. Check in as early as 3 days before your departure date via https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/e-HDC

    9. MYANMAR 
     
    Myanmar: Online e-Visa service will resume effect from 20th May 2022 for tourist visa applications under the COVID-19 rules and regulations of the Ministry of Health. 
     
    All international visitors will need to meet the latest COVID-19 entry requirements
     
    Pre- Departure 
     
    • You will need the following before you apply E-visa: 
    - Your passport validity must have at least (6) months.
    - You have to upload one Color Photo (4.6 cm X 3.8 cm) taken during the last (3) months.
    - Visa, Master, and JCB credit cards for the Online Visa payment.
    - Proof of return ticket from Myanmar must be attached to the application.
    - Proof of hotel booking must be attached to the application. Tourists must stay in registered hotels, motels, inns, guest houses, and resort during their stay in Myanmar.
    - (Note: Currently, proof of return ticket and hotel booking must be emailed to contact@moip.gov.mm)
     
    • Travelers must have the following documents: 
    - A certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19 at least 14 days before arrival to Myanmar, with one of the following vaccines which have been approved by the Ministry of Health (MOH). A vaccine Certificate must be attached to the application. 
     
    o CoronaVac (Sinovac Biotech Ltd.)
    o AstraZeneca or Covishield (AstraZeneca & University of Oxford/SK Bioscience (Korea) /Siam BioScience/ Serum Institute of India (SII))
    o Pfizer- BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine or Comirnaty (Pfizer Inc., & BioNTech)
    o Janssen or Johnson & Johnson (Janssen Pharmaceuticals Companies of Johnson & Johnson)
    o Moderna (ModernaTX, Inc.)
    o Sinopharm or COVILO or BIBP-CorV (Beijing Institute of Biological Products Co., Ltd)
    o Sputnik V (Gam-COVID-Vac) (Gamaleya National Research Centre of Epidemiology and Microbiology)
    o Sputnik Light (Gamaleya National Research Centre of Epidemiology and Microbiology)
    o Covaxin by Bharat Biotech
    o Myancopharm by Ministry of Industry, Myanmar
    o Nuvaxovid (NVX-CoV2373) vaccine, Novavax Co.,Ltd
     
    (Children under 12 years old are exempted from this requirement if they travel with fully vaccinated parent(s) or guardian(s). The name of the vaccine, country, and date(s) of vaccination must be clearly stated in the certificate, along with the particulars of the travelers according to their passport.) 
    - A negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued at maximum 72 hours earlier than arrival to Myanmar must be presented at the airport health counters. (Children under 6 years old are exempted from this requirement. The negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result and the date of the test taken must be clearly stated in English, along with the particulars of the travelers according to their passport.) 
    - Inbound Travel Accident Insurance Policy with COVID-19 coverage purchased from Myanma Insurance. An insurance certificate must be attached to the application. (Detailed information can be obtained at Myanma Insurance’s website https://www.mminsurance.gov.mm and the insurance can be purchased online at http://www.mminsurance.gov.mm/inbound-travel-accident-insurance/)
    • Travelers must present a printed copy of each document mentioned in paragraph 4 to airline staff upon check-in before boarding the aircraft destined for Myanmar as well as to the respective airport health authorities upon arrival to Myanmar.
     
    Arrival
     
    • Travelers need to post a Health Declaration Form to the respective airport health authorities upon arrival in Myanmar. (A legal action will be taken against a traveler if he or she provides any wrong records withinside the Health Declaration Form.) 
    • Travelers will be subject to a thermal screening and necessary health check to be conducted by the respective airport health authorities, upon arrival to Myanmar.
    • Travelers must undergo a COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) at the place designated by the Ministry of Health and airport authorities and must bear the cost of 15,000 MMK. 
     
    During Stay 
     
    • Travelers shall report back to the respective health authorities if they have developed signs and symptoms of COVID-19 during their stay in Myanmar. (Contact details of the respective health departments are often obtained from the designated hotels.)
    • Travelers shall be immediately isolated and brought to a hospital or treatment center or hotel designated by the MOH as per health protocols, if they are found to be symptomatic of COVID-19 or they are tested positive for COVID-19 during the RDT test.
    • If the result is negative, travelers are allowed to travel about their activities.
    • Travelers must strictly follow the instructions made by the respective health authorities. Any breach will end in legal action under the existing laws and procedures.
    • The stipulations are subject to vary depending on the COVID-19 situation.
     
    Some other destinations: 
     
    • China is open to foreign nationals with work or residence visas. Visitors will still need to bring a negative COVID-19 test result and undergo a 14-21 day quarantine.
    • Maldives is open to most countries. No mandatory quarantine
    • Japan has allowed foreign residents, business travellers and students into the country since March 1, subject to up to seven days of quarantine, but continues to bar tourists.
    • Hong Kong has reopened to visitors from India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, and South Korea. Residents of India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand, and South Korea can now enter Hong Kong if they are fully vaccinated, but they must still quarantine up to 21 days.
    • Starting April 1, international tourists will be able to visit South Korea without quarantine — provided they are vaccinated against COVID-19. This applies to visitors from most countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and more. The only exceptions are visitors from Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Myanmar, who will continue to be required to quarantine for seven days. If you plan to visit South Korea this year, you will be required to have received a booster shot to bypass quarantine if more than 180 days have passed since your last recommended dose of a primary vaccine schedule. That is 180 days after your second shot or 180 days after the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
