Day 02: Bangkok – Grand Palace – Canals Tours – City & Temples (B/L)
Today we begin our tour of Bangkok with a long tail boat ride along the Chao Phraya River to see many lively inner canals which provide some fantastic views of the local life. Along the way we will stop over at Wat Arun, the temple of dawn, before continuing to the Grand Palace which dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremonies. Nearby is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After seeing this complex we will drive through the many vibrant streets of China Town to some of the most significant temples in Bangkok. The landmark of Wat Traimit is well known as the Golden Buddha Temple while Wat Po houses a gigantic Reclining Buddha. Overnight in Bangkok.

Day 03: Bangkok – Ayuthaya – Chao Phaya River (B/L)
Today we drive to the former capital city of Siam, Ayuthaya. The ancient city of Ayuthaya is known as the "Venice of the East" due to the fact that it lies along the Chao Phraya River, the tributaries of which surround Ayuthaya province. The glory of the Ayutthaya Empire (1350-1767A.D.) is evident in the remains of temples such as Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Chai Wattanaram, which we will visit in the afternoon. A further visit includes Wat Yai Chai Mongkol. Continue to Bang Pa In to visit the Royal Summer Palace. We board a luxury boat at Wat Potangtai Pier and cruise down the river to Bangkok, a perfect way to observe the rural landscape. Overnight in Bangkok.
