Day 1: Bangkok - Arrival On arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport, you’re met and transferred to hotel.
After checking in to the hotel you will be free on your own activities.
Day 02: Bangkok – Grand Palace – Canals Tours – City & Temples (B/L) Today we begin our tour of Bangkok with a long tail boat ride along the
Chao Phraya River to see many lively inner canals which provide some
fantastic views of the local life. Along the way we will stop over at Wat Arun,
the temple of dawn, before continuing to the Grand Palace which dedicated
to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremonies. Nearby is the magnificent Wat Phra
Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image. After seeing this
complex we will drive through the many vibrant streets of China Town to
some of the most significant temples in Bangkok. The landmark of Wat Traimit is
well known as the Golden Buddha Temple while Wat Po houses a gigantic Reclining
Buddha. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3: Ayutthaya – Lopburi - Phitsanulok (B/L) Travel to Ayutthaya. Visit Bang Pa-In Palace and explore the
extensive ruins of the World Heritage listed sites of the ancient Ayutthaya.
Leave for Lopburi to visit Phra Prang Sam Yot and many Khmer ruins
found in and around this town. Continue your journey passing the beautiful
scenery of rice field countryside and stay overnight in Phitsanulok.
Day 4: Phitsanulok – Sukhothai (B/L) At Phitsanulok, visit Wat Phra Si Ratana Mahathat, home to Phra
Bhudda Chinnaraj considered the country’s most beautiful Buddha image. Visit the
Thai Folklore Museum. Continue to wander in the ancient ruins of
Sukhothai Historical Park. Stay overnight in Sukhothai.
Day 5: Lampang – Lampoon - Chiang Mai (B/L) In the morning, visit Si Satchanalai Historical Park. Then leave for
Lampang to visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang and enjoy the horse
carriage ride. Leave for Lampoon to visit Wat Phra That Hariphunchai
and the ancient city of Lampoon. Transfer to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 6: Chiang Mai (B/L) Travel out of the city to have a close encounter with elephants at Mae Sa
Elephant Camp and relax in the orchid gardens on the way back to the city.
In the afternoon, visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most famous
and most visible landmark. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 7: Chiang Mai - Mae Hong Son (B/L) Take the early flight to Mae Hong Son. Ride a long-tail boat along
the Pai river and visit a long-neck Padong hill tribe village. Return to
explore the small town of Mae Hong Son.Overnight in Mae Hong Son.
Day 8: Mae Hong Son - Pai (B/L) On the next day, visit Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu located on the hill
to have a spectacular view of the entire valley of Mae Hong Son and surrounding
countryside. Explore temples built in the Thai-Burmese architectural style.
Proceed to Tham Lod, the largest cave in the North and enjoy a ride on
bamboo raft. Stay overnight in the scenic town of Pai.
Day 9: Pai - Chiang Mai - Departure (B) Travel along the mountain landscape back to Chiang Mai. Depart Chiang Mai to
your next destination.
