PROGRAM DAY 01 FRI HANOI - ARRIVAL - NIGHT TRAIN TO LAO CAI Arrival to Hanoi. The guide is awaiting for you at the airport. Transfer to the city (1 hour). Free time in the afternoon in Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi train station for night train to Lao Cai etd @ 20:35 hrs. Overnight on 4-bed superior/shared cabin. DAY 02: SAT-LAO CAI – SAPA Upon arrival in Lao Cai, our car will drive you to Sapa. You have the whole morning to explore Muong Hoa Valley to visit the typical Black H’mong people in Cat Cat Village. In the Afternoon, Visit to Lao Chai Village, trek down to Ta Van Village to see more rice fields. Car picks up and transfer back to Sapa. Accommodation in Sapa. DAY 03 : SUN-SAPA – BAC HA SUNDAY MARKET - LAO CAI (B) After breakfast, 6h00' AM: Take a tour going to Bac Ha, after 3 hours, you will arrive BacHa market. free visit market ( BacHa market open on Sunday morning only). Visit to Ban Pho village near Back Ha. At 3pm take transfer back to railway station for a night train Back to Hanoi. Overnight on 4-bed superior/shared cabin train to Hanoi. DAY 4: MON-HANOI (B/L) Early arrival in Hanoi. Pick up at station and transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. Breakfast at the hotel and ready to join the city tour at 8.30 am. The tour includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (on Mondays & Fridays see outside only due to closure), the house of Ho Chi Minh, the Single Pillar Pagoda, the Tran Quoc Pagoda, and Army Museum with Flag Tower. Then we have short break to enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee before continuing visit the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam). Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, we continue to visit Ngoc Son Temple in the middle of Hoan Kiem lake, followed by one hour cyclo tour through the typical Old quarters of Hanoi. In the afternoon, attend a traditional Water Puppet show at the at Thang Long Theater. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5 TUE HANOI – HALONG (B/L/D) not included guide from Hanoi.
After breakfast, Departure by road to Halong Bay. Departure by road to Halong Bay. Travel through the rich farmlands of the Delta of Red river and the landscape of rice fields, water buffalo, the daily life of the Vietnamese village. Arrive in Halong and board to board a traditional junk. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, stop at Vung Vieng fishing village, take rowing boat to the village, meet and talk and take photos with the villagers. Free time for swimming. Later on the junk move to docking area for overnight. Dinner with Vietnamese food served on board.
Day 6 WED HALONG – HANOI - HOI AN (Brunch)
Breakfast served while the junk cruises around Ha Long Bay passes by many rocks, islets… Stop for a while to explore Surprise cave. The junk continues cruising toward Halong port. Ready for disembarking at 11:30am. Shuttle bus will pick up all at pier and then transfer all back to Hanoi. Take another transfer to Hanoi Airport for a 45 minus flight to the center of Vietnam. Upon arrival direct transfer to Hoi An (30 mins.) Accommodation in Hoi An.
Day 7 THU HOI AN (B)
Free day for relax or taking an optional tour to My Son, Tra Que village or cooking class… Accommodation in Hoi An.
Day 8 FRI HOI AN – DA NANG - HUE (B)
Free morning in Hoi An to do whatever take your fancy or just swimming, sunbathing on the virgin white beach of Cua Dai. In the afternoon, transfer to Hue, which is 130km away from Hoi An. On the way visit Danang city with Cham museum, Mable mountain, Han river ... Overnight in Hue.
Day 9 SAT HUE (B/L)
Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of the past emperors, and with Orient style – those tombs almost located near the bank of Hue’s river – Perfume river. Take a boat trip along river to visit the most famous religious site, Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc & Minh Mang by car. After lunch visit the Imperial Citadel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 10 SUN HUE – HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI (B/L)
After breakfast, transfer to Phu Bai airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival, drive 70 km to Cu Chi district. After lunch, visit the incredible underground Cu Chi tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Back to Ho Chi Minh City for short city tour passing Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 11 TUE HO CHI MINH CITY – Departure (B)
After breakfast, free time in Saigon (check out the hotel at 12:00 hrs). Wait until time transfer to airport for your flight back home.
