Route Map Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Arrival (D) Be welcomed at International Tan Son Nhat airport by our tour guide then transferred to your hotel in the city center. You will be free for the remainder of the day for relaxing after a long-haul flight. Welcome dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi (B/L) In the morning, we will go to Hoc Mon district to visit the incredible underground Cu Chi tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Back to the city for lunch after 4 hours excursion. In the afternoon, you will visit Unification Palace and War Museum, Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral andBen Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Transfer out of Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho, crossing the Mekong River by the biggest suspension. Other side is Ben Tre – the gateway of the Mekong delta. Today’s ride will lead you right into the heart of the rural Mekong. The cycling begins after the bridge journey across the Tien River. The route takes you through narrow paths under shade of fruit trees, a section of biking cuts off road onto gravel and dirt lanes, and stroll around hamlets, across water channels, and through quiet dense vegetation. This makes for great biking. Lunch at local restaurant then take the boat trip on the Mekong River also make the tour more colorful. Return to Saigon in late afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – China Town – Flying to Buon Ma Thuot (B) This morning, your group will proceed to China town where you will have visits to Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Market. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Buon Ma Thuot. Upon arrival at the airport in Buon Me Thuot in the Central Highlands, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.
Day 5: Draysap Waterfall –
Lak Lake (B/L/D) After breakfast, explore the morning market and one of the typical villages of theEde hill tribe people - Ako Dhong Village with around 20 long houses on stilts, followed by Draysap Waterfall. After lunch, drive to Lak Lake. Walk around M’Nong hill tribe villages of Jun and Le. Take an elephant ride across the lake and a boat trip in dugout canoe. Back to Buon Ma Thuot city. Overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.
Day 6: Buon Don – Nha Trang (B/L) After breakfast, drive to Buon Don, a famous elephant hunting and taming village in the past. Cross a suspension bridge over Serepok River, visit the ancient houseof the Laotians and the grave of the elephant hunting King Khunjunop. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will drive along the National Road 26 to Nha Trang. Check in your hotel and overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 7: Nha Trang snorkeling (B/L) In the morning, we take a boat trip to Mun Island, the best site for snorkeling where you will see lots of live colorful corals and fish. This site has been officially protected under the support of Danish Government. Lunch on boat or Tam island. Then visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island. At this place, you will see the life of the many sea species of Nha Trang ocean that being made in a smaller world of this aquarium. Free in the afternoon for relaxing. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 8: Nha Trang – Danang - Hoi An (B/L) You will take a morning flight to Danang Airport, then transfer to Hoi An Ancient Town about 35km away. Upon arrival, check in hotel then discover Hoian truly life. Walking tour around this enchanting port town. Follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures and visit its numerous places of interest: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local fish market… Around the town we can see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like. The next tour is coming to the home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here you will have a brief introduction to the history, shape, and colour of the lanterns as well as the many stages of making them. After that you can make your own lantern, decorate, pack and keep it as a souvenir during the time in Hoian. Have lunch at the local restaurant. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An free – train to Hanoi (B) You will be free today to explore the town by yourself. In the evening, you will take a train to Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
Day 10: Hanoi – Mai Chau (B/L/D) Arriving in Hanoi early in the morning, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to a mini hotel for breakfast and shower. Depart at 7.00 am from your hotel to Mai Chau (150km from Hanoi) It takes around 4 hours drive with stops on the way to take pictures. Arriving in Mai Chau, checking to your homestay. Relax and have lunch there. In the afternoon, you will visit Pom Coong and Lac village of White Thai ethnic minority people. Overnight at homestay with stilt house.
Day 11: Mai Chau - Hanoi (B/L) Have breakfast and then have 2 hours of easy cycling through the verdant rice paddies and the villages of Chieng Sai, Na Phin, Nhot of the ethnic minority people. After lunch, relax and back to Hanoi at about 17:30. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 12: Hanoi - Ha Long bay – the World heritage (B/L/D/guide on board only) After breakfast, take 3.5 hours drive to Halong bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. The cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may stop for a while for visiting a beautiful case, if not today, you will do tomorrow according to each boat/junk’s itinerary. Again your dinner served on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (optional) and later overnight on board. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 13: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (Brunch/Guide on board only) In the morning, your breakfast or brunch will be served while doing further cruise to explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the Wharf. Enjoy brunch on board before disembarking. Pick up and transfer back to Hanoi for overnight stay.
Day 14: Hanoi - free day(B) Free day for self exploring and relax. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 15: Hanoi Departure (B/Driver only) You will be free until our driver comes to pick you up the airport for departure flight.
