Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi - Long Tan Nui Dat - Mekong – Hoi An – Hue - DMZ - Ha Noi

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival (D)
Arrive at International Tan Son Nhat airport on ----- Our guide will welcome
you transfer to your hotel in the center of city. Visit Ben Thanh market in
the late afternoon and enjoy welcome dinner at a French style house.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi (B/L)
In the morning, we will go to Hoc Mon district to visit the incredible
underground Cu Chi tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the
long struggle for independence. After lunch, visit War Museum, Reunification Palace and
Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market for shopping. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Long Tan Nui Dat (B/L)
Leave your hotel in the morning, drive toward Vung Tau. After one hour & a
half we arrive at Long Tan – Nui Dat Battle Field - is arguably the most
famous battle fought by the Australian Army during the Vietnam War. It was
fought in a rubber plantation near the village of Long Tan, about 40 km
north-east of Vung Tau, South Vietnam on August 18–19, 1966. Time to visit
Long Tan Cross, Horse Shoe then to Long Phuoc Tunnels en-route. After lunch,
visit Nui Dat (SAS Hill). Return to Ho Chi Minh city in the late afternoon.
Over night in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta - Hoi An (B/L)
Heading out of the bustling city, we drive along rice field to My Tho,
one of Mekong Delta province. Upon arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat
navigating around the small canals in the delta region, which passing My
Tho fruit market. Joining in with daily activities of local people and
enjoy the atmosphere of water world along the canal and along the Tien
river. The exciting cruise continue to Unicorn island, here you can
taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music, performed
by the islanders. Have lunch at a typical country garden house. Next stops
are the coconut candy “mill” and some other local industries in Ben Tre
province. Drive back Ho Chi Minh for late flight at to Danang. Upon arrival,
pick up and transfer to Hoian town 35km away. Overnight in Hoian. Day 5: Hoi
An - Cooking at Tra Que Village (B/L)
Tra Que is a charming little village on the edge of Hoi An, the village
is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the everyday meals of
the Pho Hoi people. Here a new spirit for traditional Hoi An dishes like Cao
Lau, Quang noodles, the local ‘Tam huu’ spring roll (made from Tra Que
vegetables) and cake with meat (Banh xeo) has been enlivened. Enjoy a cookery
class with your host. Experience a day of living and working with the local
people in Tra Que vegetable village, in which you will have a chance to discover
the daily life of farmers. Lunch at local house.
In the afternoon, you will walk to visit ancient town of Hoian. The visit
will includes Japanese covered bridge, some Chinese Assembly Halls, and some
typical Vietnamese houses of 18 century. Free time for shopping later on.
Overnight stay in Hoian.
Day 6: Hoi An – Hue (B/L)
The car will drive you to Hue which is about 130km via Danang. Passing Danang,
the car will stop for the visit to Cham museum. Cham museum is the open
air collection of Cham sculpture. Many of the sandstone carving are
breathtaking. You will travel through Hai Van pass, and Lang Co beach
– one of the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam. Arrive in Hue after 3 hours
drive. Lunch at local restaurant then visit Imperial Citadel of Hue.
Check in and time at leisure. Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Back to DMZ (DEMILITARIZED ZONE) (B/L)
A full day brings you back to an unforgettable period time. During
Vietnam-American War, the Ben Hai River was demarcation line between North and
South Vietnam. This make a Demilitarized Zone of five km each from the river.
However during the war, the Southern area of DMZ was one of the most
bloodiest battlefield. This tour to DMZ will take you back to the war sites,
including: Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnel, Khe Sanh
Combat, Ho Chi Minh Trail, Dong Ha Town, Rock Pile. Last but not least, you
will have a chance to visit Van Kieu ethnic minorities people in the Central of
Vietnam. Return back to your hotel late afternoon. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue - Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast, you will visit the King Minh Mang tomb (typical formal
oriental style designed), and Thien Mu pagoda. Leave Hue on noon flight
to Hanoi. Upon arrival, a panorama of Hanoi will be introduced by our tour guide
with visit to Ethnology museum. Dinner at local restaurant then back to
your hotel in city for overnight.
Day 9: Hanoi (B/L)
From your hotel, we will go north to visit Ba Dinh Square with the Mausoleum
of president Ho Chi Minh, Quan Thanh temple, Tran Quoc pagoda, Army Museum and
Hanoi Flag Tower. After lunch, continue to visit Hanoi Hilton prison and Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ( Temple of Literature). We will present you Hanoi locals’
daily life with one hour trishaw (cyclo) ride around Hanoi Old streets, Hoan
Kiem lake, stop at Ngoc Son temple and you then attending a Water Puppets show.
Tour ends at your hotel around 1830. Over night in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)
Start at 08:30am from your hotel, after 03 hours and a half drive we arrive in
Halong bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Upon
arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious
local seafood lunch served on board. Passing many rocks and islets in shape of
Dog, Incense, Fighting-cock, Finger, Hoa Cuong etc and visit Surprise cave and
short swim at Titov beach, kayak (kayak cost is not include in this package), if
weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing
and later over night on board.
Day 11: Halong - Hanoi (B/L)
In the morning, cruising to Bai Tu long bay, Fire Island, Bo Nau Island,
fishing village. Disembark at Ha long wharf about 12.00 noon. Return to Hanoi by
private car, arrive in Hanoi about 16.00 pm.
Day 12: Hanoi City – Departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel and free time until transferring to Noi Bai airport for
departure home.
