Day 1: Arrive Hanoi City visit - Night train to Lao Cai Arrive on morning flight, welcomed by our guide and transfer to Hanoi. After arrival, we commence the tour with the visit to Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature). Then we are roaming to the old quarter for visiting the Hoan Kiem Lake and trading area of Hanoi. We then stop at Thang Long theatre for enjoying Water puppets show. Free time before taking night train to Lao Cai. O/N on train.
Notes: - The city visit is subject to change depends on your flight time.
Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa - Hill tribe villages (B) You will arrive at Lao Cai at around 6.00am. Have breakfast at local restaurant, and visit Ta Phin village, home of Red Dzao hill tribe and HMong. Then continue driving to Sapa town for check in your hotel. In the afternoon, take a 2km trek to Cat Cat Village, home of Hmong Ethnics. Meet & talk with locals to learn more about their daily life, back to the town to visit the local market. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 3: Sapa Hill tribe villages night train to Hanoi (B) In the morning, take a drive to visit Lao Chai village home of Black HMong here you trek through terraced rice fields to villages, meet and talk with locals to learn more about their daily life and habits. You trek through Ta Van village home of Dzay hill tribe and get on car back to Sapa. Free time for relax before transferring to Lao Cai for night train to Hanoi. Day 4: Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D) Arrive in Hanoi very early in the morning (round 04:40am) you will be guided to Ariva Nam Ngu hotel, just some minutes walk from Hanoi Railway Station. Check in your room for freshen up and have breakfast before pick up for Halong trip (08:00am). Take 3.5 hour transfer to Halong Bay with one stop en route. Upon arrival, embark on a junk /boat for a cruise around Ha Long Bay. While the junk cruising caves, grottoes, floating villages and beaches on the bay, having fresh seafood lunch on boat. Stop for a while for an excursing to explore one of the most beautiful grottos among others and swimming, if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (service available free of charge upon request and in good weather only). Overnight on board.
Day 5: Ha Long Bay - Tam Coc in Ninh Binh (Brunch) In the morning, doing more cruises through the Bay, passing by many other rocks, Islets as well as fishing villages. Brunch will be served on board before disembarking time. Car pick up and proceed to Ninh Binh visa Hai Phong and Nam Dinh. Overnight in Ninh Binh City.
Day 6: Tam Coc - Hoa Lu Hanoi (B) After breakfast we take an early sampan rowing along winding streams deep in rice fields and limestone rocks to visit Tam Coc caves. Return to the boat quay after 2 hour- visit. In the afternoon, depart Hanoi for Ninh Binh. On the way, visit Hoa Lu - ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10 century and the remaining two temples of Dinh King & Le King After that we drive back to Hanoi for overnight. Day 7: Hanoi - departure (B) Breakfast at hotel and free time until transferring to airport for departure home or next destination.
