Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Arrival (D)
Welcomed at International Tan Son Nhat airport by our tour guide then
transferred to your hotel in the city center. After fresh up, our guide will
introduce you about our busiest city with a short cyclo and walking tour
through French colonial corner. (Cyclo from hotel along Rue Catinat-Dong
Khoi street to Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office, walking from here down
to Lam Son square with the formally the Place Garnier, the scene of
General The’s terrorist bombing in the Quite American. Walk to Continental
Hotel located between Dong Khoi Street and Le Loi Boulevard. Go straight to
Le Loi to see the statue of Ho Chi Minh in the front of gingerbread Town
Hall, now the People’s Committee building and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese
coffee. Continue cycling through Boulevard Charner – Dai Lo Nguyen Hue, Ham
Nghi and passing Ben Thanh night market. A light meal served with “Pho” –
Vietnamese noodle at Pho’ 2000 – the restaurant, where former US
President Bill Clinton has his meal during his visit to Vietnam in 2001.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi (B/L)
In the morning, we will go to Hoc Mon district to visit the incredible
underground Cu Chi tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the
long struggle for independence. Back to the city for lunch after 4 hours
excursion. In the afternoon, visit China town with Thien Hau
pagoda, Fito traditional medicine.. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L) Leaving the busy city, you are going to
visit country side in the Mekong Delta -water, the base life of the
South of Vietnam. On arrival at Cai Be, of course, the only way for you to
observe the local lifestyle is getting on a boat navigating around the small
canals in the delta region. You will see the Cai Be floating market
with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their
boats. Visit local garden and house to see orchards, rice crisped producing
process, etc. (Optional short biking before lunch). After lunch at an
Ancient garden house proceeding to Vinh Long, passing small and beautiful
canal see peaceful tranquil life of villagers, admire marvelous natural
setting of Mekong Delta region. Stop at An Binh islet famous for their fruit
orchards. After crossing the Co Chien river, the excursion ends at Vinh Long
pier where our driver is waiting for your drive back to Saigon for over
night.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang (B)
After breakfast, take a short flight to Nha Trang, a city right on the
beach. Check-in hotel and rush to beach for relax or swimming and many more
activities. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 5:
Nha Trang (B/L)
Start from your hotel to Cau Da port. Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island
is the first place to visit, many sea species of Nha Trang/Khanh Hoa province
make a small ocean world there. Mun Island is the best island for
snorkeling where you can see lots of lives colorful corals and fish. Visit a
fishing village and taking a fresh lunch at the island. On the way back you will
be able to see caves in which the sea swallows make their nest.
In the afternoon take half day city visit to Cham Po Nagar temples, and
the Thap Ba Hot Spring center for enjoying fun with Mud bathing and
Mineral springs swimming. Overnight in Nha Trang
Day 6: Nha Trang – Hoi An (B/L) You will take a morning flight to Danang
Airport, then transfer to Hoi An about 35km away. Upon arrival, check in hotel
then discover Hoian truly life. walking tour around this enchanting port town.
Follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese,
Japanese, French and European architectures and visit its numerous places of
interest: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly
Halls, the local fish market… Around the town we can see a numerous art
galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like.
The next tour is coming to the home of a
craftsman in the old streets. Here you will have a brief introduction to the
history, shape, and colour of the lanterns as well as the many stages of making
them. After that you can make your own lantern, decorate, pack and keep it as a
souvenir during the time in Hoian. Have lunch
at the local restaurant.
Overnight in Hoian.
Day 7: Hoi An - Da Nang – Hue (B) Depart at your hotel at 9:00 am, you will ride
by bicycle to Tra Que Vegetable Village, experience a day of living and
working with the local farmers in this village. A tour of the organic vegetable
and herb gardens can include some time working in the field if you like, or
merely observing and learning about the system and the fresh ingredients. Upon
returning to the house, we were all treated to an herbal foot massage followed
by a session of cooking various local dishes also such as: Tam Huu Spring
Roll, Banh Xeo or the local pancake of the people from the middle region.
Biking back to your hotel for fresh up. In the
afternoon, drive to Hue through the famous Hai Van pass with a visit to the
Cham Museum on the way. Check-in hotel for overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue (B/D)
Visit the Imperial Citadel, another World Cultural Heritage site. Then we
take a short drive to visit Thien Mu pagoda, King Tu Duc tomb, King Minh Mang
tomb. Enjoy dinner at Royal Park restaurant with Traditional Hue folk song.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue- Hanoi (B) Morning free for relaxing or optional visits
till noon flight to Hanoi, our millennium Capital city. You are arrival
at our thousand years Capital – Hanoi city. Our guide will welcome you at the
airport Noi bai airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the center of
city.
After freshen up, we would like to show you of
Hanoian daily life with one hour Cyclo (trishaw) ride around the old
streets and stop to visit Ngoc Son temple then enjoy one hour Traditional Water
Puppet shows at Thang Long theater. Back to your hotel for overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 10: Hanoi full day visits – Night train to Lao Cai (B/L)
The full day tour commences with visit to
Hochiminh’s Mausoleum (closed every Monday for maintenance), His House on
Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, and Van Mieu (our first national
university). Lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, discover more of Hanoi with
the visit to Ethnology Museum of Vietnam then back to centre for visit
Hilton prison or Museum of Art. Relax at a local Coffee shop or “Bia hoi”
corner for deeply explore local life while waiting for local train to Lao cai –
Sapa. Overnight on train
Day 11: Sapa – Hill tribes colorful market – night train to Hanoi Cai (B/L) Upon
arrival to Lao Cai train station, drive to visit one of the colorful tribal
market near Sapa area (incase no Market available at your date, you will
visit Cat Cat & Ta Fin villages). Tuesday: Coc Ly Market (this market is not available until further
notice due to the construction site nearby) Wednesday: Cao Son Market Saturday: Can Cau Market Sunday: Bac Ha Market Market
Then transfer to Sapa for overnight.
Day 12: Lao Cai – Sapa- Hill Tribe villages (B/-/D)
Drive to visit Lao Chai village – home of Black H’Mong – here you trek
through terraced rice fields to villages, meet and talk with locals to learn
more about their daily life and habits. You then trek through Ta Van
village. Lunch on your own arrangement. Car pick up at Ta Van and transfer
to Lao Cai station for overnight train back to Hanoi.
Day 13: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)
Start at 08:30am from your hotel, after 03 hours and a half drive we arrive in
Halong bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Upon
arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious
local seafood lunch served on board. Passing many rocks and islets in shape of
Dog, Incense, Fighting-cock, Finger, Hoa Cuong etc and visit Surprise cave and
short swim at Titov beach, kayak (kayak cost is not include in this package), if
weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing
and later over night on board.
Day 14: Halong - Hanoi (B/L) In the morning, cruising to Bai Tu long bay, fishing village then moving
toward Bai Chay. Arrive at Ha long wharf about 12.00 noon.
Car pick up and drive you toward Hanoi, stop on the way for 2 hours visit a
special place in Bac Ninh, the cradle of Vietnamese folklore music in Red
River Delta.
We take a horse-drawn cart through country lanes to visit Dinh Bang Communal
house & Do Temple which worship place of 8 (eight) kings of Ly
Dynasty (1010-1225). After that you will be invited to enjoy Quan Ho folk
songs (duo of love songs) performed by local artists and singers. Drive back
to Hanoi for overnight stay.
Day 15: Hanoi City – Departure (B)
Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer to Noi Bai airport for departure.
