Day 1: Ho Chi
Minh City Arrival
You are welcome
by our guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and then be transferred to your hotel
in the center of city. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 2: Ho Chi
Minh City Cu Chi Tunnels (B)
Breakfast, then
we leave
around
08:00am for Cuchi district to visit the incredible underground tunnel
network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for
independence.
The tour guided by a soldier named Chu Nam (Uncle Nam) who is the witness of
history (subject to availability).
Optional:
To give wildlife a hand we would to invite you to do responsible travel with
us. Wildlife At Risk (WAR) is dedicated to protecting the biodiversity of
Vietnam by combating the illegal wildlife trade, raising environmental
awareness and promoting the conservation of endangered species and their
habitats - an sustainable tourism center. Child would love this center.
In the afternoon,
visit China town with Thien Hau pagoda, Fito traditional Medicine.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi
Minh City Mekong Delta (B/L)
In the
morning, take 2 hour drive southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta
which is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Upon arrival, take a boat cruise
along islets and tropical orchards through the canal of Vam Xep to reach a
small islet, followed by a relaxing walk along shady and palm fringed trails
passing by local villages where you can see their peaceful daily life. Stop
en route to sip special tea with honey and sample fruits with a local family
and share their stories of life in the Mekong Delta. They will guide you on
a walk through their orchard and explain how tropical fruits are grown. Then
continue the journey with a paddled sampan through the narrow, tree-lined
canals of Mekong River. Enjoy lunch at the islet then visit handicraft
villages and a coconut candy factory before returning on shore for driving
back to Ho Chi Minh City.
On the way back to Ho Chi Minh city we would like to suggest a stop to visit
one of the followings
(choose one place only)
+ Dong Tam snake farm -
is a center for breeding snakes producing venom for exportation and an
ecological zoo where different genes of rare & precious animals in the
Southern area are conserved. There is a museum of almost all species of
pythons and snakes in Vietnam. The farm has a collection of mutant turtles
and fish on exhibit.
+ Vinh Trang Pagoda
an ancient southern architectural gem. Built in 1849, the structure is a
harmonious mixture of Asian and European architecture including elements
from the Renaissance period, Romanesque style, French decorative flowers and
Japanese enameled tile. There are many specious statues made of wood, among
which was a collection of 18 Bodhisattvas sculpted in 1907, representing the
summit in sculpture in the Mekong River plains.
Day 4: Ho Chi
Minh City Nha Trang (B)
After breakfast,
take a short flight to Nha Trang, a city right on the beach. Check-in hotel
and rush to beach for relaxation or swimming and many more activities.
Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 5: Nha Trang
(B/L)
Start from your
hotel to Cau Da Port. Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island will be the
first place to visit, where many marine species of Nha Trang/Khanh Hoa
Province create a small ocean world. Mun Island is the best for
snorkeling where you can see plenty of living colorful coral and fish. Visit
a fishing village and enjoy a fresh lunch on the island. On the way back you
will be able to see caves in which the sea swallows make their nests.
In the afternoon
take a half-day tour to visit the Cham Po Nagar Towers, and the
Thap Ba Hot Spring center, where you will have fun with mud bathing
and mineral springs swimming. Overnight in Nha Trang
Day 6: Nha Trang
Hoi An (B)
Leave Nha Trang
on the morning flight to Danang (08:05-09:20). Upon arrival in Danang
airport, pick up and transfer to Hoian city for visiting Hoi An ancient
city. The visit includes Japanese covered bridge, some Chinese Assembly
Halls, and some typical Vietnamese houses of 18 century.
Free in the
afternoon for shopping and beach relaxation.
Day 7: Hoi An
Danang Hue (B)
In the afternoon,
take half day excursion to Tra Que Vegetable Village, walk around a
vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land, fertilizing it
with seaweed from the local lake, raking, sowing, watering greens, picking
greens and many more gardening activities. After gardening activities you
will be relaxed with foot massage with many kinds of herb remedy. Then spend
the rest time to learn how to prepare Tam Huu' spring roll & banh xeo with
your host. Back to your hotel for checking out.
In the afternoon,
drive to Hue through the famous Hai Van pass with a visit to the Cham
Museum on the way. Check-in hotel for overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue City
(B)
Visit the
Imperial Citadel, another UNESCO designated World Cultural Heritage
site. Then we take a short drive to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, King Minh
Mang tomb and King Tu Duc tomb. Relax with one hour cruising Perfume
river and the tour finishes at Vi Da Xua tea saloon. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue
Hanoi (B)
Morning free for
relaxing or optional visits till noon flight to Hanoi.
You are arrival at our thousand years Capital Hanoi city. Our guide will
welcome you at the airport Noi bai airport and then be transferred to your
hotel in the center of city.
After freshen up, we would like to show you of Hanoian daily life with one
hour Cyclo (trishaw) ride around the old streets and stop to visit
Ngoc Son temple then enjoy one hour Traditional Water Puppets
show at Thang Long theatre.
Back to your
hotel after the show, or free time then on for your dinner.
Day 10: Hanoi
Full Day Visits
Night Train to Lao Cai (B)
The full day tour
commences with visit to Hochiminhs Mausoleum (Mondays & Fridays closed),
His House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, and Van Mieu (our first
national university.)
In the afternoon, discover more of Hanoi with the visit to Ethnology
Museum of Vietnam then back to centre for visit Hilton prison or Museum
of Art. Dinner on your own
while waiting for local train to Lao cai Sapa. Overnight on train.
Day 11: Lao Cai
Hill Tribe Colorful Market (B)
Upon arrival at
the Lao Cai train station, drive to visit one of the colorful tribal markets
near the Sapa area (in case Market not available on those dates, you will
visit Cat Cat and Ta Fin Villages).

Then transfer to
Sapa for overnight.
Day 12: Sapa
Hill Tribe villages Night Train to Hanoi (B)
Drive to visit
Lao Chai Village home of the Black HMong Tribe here you trek
through terraced rice fields to the village, meet and talk with locals to
learn more about their daily life and habits. You then trek through Ta
Van Village. Car pick up at Ta Van and transfer to Lao Cai station for
overnight train back to Hanoi.
Day 13: Hanoi
Ha Long (B/L/D)
Arrive in Hanoi
around 4:30am 5:00am. Transfer to a local restaurant for breakfast.
After breakfast,
take 3.5 hours drive to Halong bay, a World Heritage Area of
outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise
around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. The
cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may
stop for a while for visiting a beautiful case, if not today, you will do
tomorrow according to each boat/junks itinerary. Again your dinner served
on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (optional) and later
overnight on board.
Day 14: Ha Long
Bay Hanoi (Brunch)
In the morning,
your breakfast or brunch will be served while doing further cruise to
explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the Wharf. Enjoy brunch
on board before disembarking. Pick up and transfer back to
Hanoi for
overnight stay.
Day 15: Hanoi
City Departure (B)
Free
time for shopping before transferring to Noi Bai Airport for departure. End
of service.
