Day 1: Ho Chi
Minh City – Arrival (no meal)
After arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport, we will transfer to hotel for check
in and then your free time for strolling around the downtown for the first
discovery of this bustling metropolis. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi
Minh City– Cu Chi Tunnels (B)
Breakfast, then
we leave
around
08:00am for Cu Chi district to visit the incredible underground
tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle
for independence. Drive back to the city after 4 hours excursion.
In the afternoon,
take a quick look at famous Reunification Palace and Notre Dame
Cathedral, then visit China town.
Overnight in Ho
Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Mekong
Delta – Late flight to Danang/Hoian (B/L)
Depart in the morning to My Tho, one of Mekong Delta provinces. Upon
arrival in My Tho, embark a boat to navigate along small canals, passing
My Tho fruit market. Join in with daily activities of local people and
enjoy the atmosphere of water world along the canals and the Tien River.
The exciting cruise continues to Unicorn Island,
where
you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music,
performed by the islanders. Lunch will be served at a typical country garden
house. Next stops are the coconut candy mill and some other local industries
in Ben Tre province.
Drive back
Ho Chi Minh for late flight at to Danang. Upon arrival, pick up and transfer
to Hoian town 35km away. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 4: Hoi An -
Hue (B)
In the morning,
you will walk to visit ancient tiny town Hoi an. The visit will includes
Japanese covered bridge, some Chinese Assembly Halls, and some typical
Vietnamese houses of 18 century.
In the afternoon
take a guided transfer to Hue with a stop in Danang to visit Cham museum
where you will see the open air collection of Cham breathtaking sculptures.
Continue your journey to Hue city through Hai Van pass. Check in hotel and
overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue (B)
Today, you will
visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue, King Minh Mang tomb (typical
formal oriental style designed), and Thien Mu pagoda. In the afternoon,
visit King Tu Duc’s tomb, later on take a cruise on Huong River watching
sunset. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue –
Hanoi (B)
Early morning
flight to Hanoi (08:30-09:40)
Our guide welcomes you at the Noi Bai airport and transfer to city centre
for visit to Ethnology Museum of Vietnam and the Westlake with
beautiful & historical Pagoda of Tran Quoc.
In the afternoon, discover more of Hanoi with the visit to the Temple of
Literature and the First University of Vietnam(Van Mieu- Quoc Tu
Giam). Later in the afternoon, roaming to the old Quarter to learn more
about the legend/history about Hoan Kiem lake (the lake of the
Restored Sword) with Ngoc Son Temple and Pho co (Old quarter).
Relax at a local Coffee shop or “Bia hoi” corner for deeply explore local
life before enjoying Water Puppet show at Thang Long Theatre.
Day 7: Hanoi -
Ha Long bay - the World heritage – Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast
at your hotel, you will depart to Ha Long bay. Ride directly to Ha Long
city, upon arrival (12.00am), get on boat and start your cruise. While the
junk is passing many islets, rocks, caves, floating villages and beaches on
Ha Long bay, enjoy your lunch will be served on board with fresh sea food.
Disembarking
after 4 hour-cruise and take a drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
(arrive in Hanoi around 07:30pm)
Day 8: Hanoi
Departure (B)
Breakfast at
hotel then prepare for flight back home. End of service
