Located in Bac Giang Province, about 50km north of Hanoi, Tho Ha village is nestled by a peaceful river. Used to specialize in making pottery wares but nowadays Tho Ha is known as one of very a few to maintain the core of ancient village with the traditional way of making rice paper and rice products.
 
Making rice paper used primarily for spring rolls and other rice products such as crisp rice pancake and rice noodle are the main and most popular job earning to live in the village. Mr. Viet’s family is the only one who still keeps the traditional ways of making rice paper. The family also wishes to remain the handicraft of their older generation, in addition. It is perfect for who seeking the atmosphere of old days.
 
Detailed Itinerary
07.30am: Pick up at your hotel, transfer from Hanoi to Tho Ha Traditional Village in 1 hour. Upon arrival, have a short ferry ride (5') cross Cau River to Tho Ha village. Time for a walk to visit local market & Traditional Communal House, Wooden Old Houses. You will be amazed by the old architecture of this village some of the houses still keep the original construction of late 1800s. Discover the traditional Vietnamese life with handicraft such as: making of rice papers for spring rolls, pigs farming. Welcome by a local family with cheers and welcome wine, you will see and learn how rice paper is created & drying rice papers. Interact with the family through a mini Quan Ho folk songs. Then walk through the village and have a chance to mingle with the locals. It's a great opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of rural life in Vietnam. Transfer back to your hotel Hanoi at noon time.

A. CANCELLATION POLICY:
The cancellation charges below refer to the non-transferable fee that is charged to the group member who has cancelled their tour:
  • More than 45 days before departure: No cancellation charge
  • Between 45 and 30 days before departure: 10% of total tour cost 
  • Between 30 days and 15 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost
  • Between 15 days and 7 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 90% of total tour cost
  • No-show at the airport on the day of arrival/departure: 100% of total tour cost

B. CHILDREN POLICY (land service only)
  • Child from 1- 4 yrs:  Free of charge if sharing bed with parents 
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 30% of adult price if sharing existing bed(s) with parents
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 50% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 7 – 11 yrs: charge 75% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 12 yrs up: pay as adult rate
