Day 1: HANOI-
Arrival
You are arrival
at our thousand years Capital – Hanoi city. Our guide will welcome you at
the airport Noi Bai airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the
center of city.
After freshen up,
we would like to show you of Hanoian daily life with one hour Cyclo
(trishaw) ride around the old streets and stop to visit Ngoc Son
temple. Back to your hotel for overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: HANOI –
Full day city (B)
The full day tour
commences with visit to Hochiminh’s Mausoleum
(view from outside on Mondays, Fridays and afternoons as it closed for
maintenance),
His House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda and the Westlake.
Next up, visit the Temple of Literature and the First University
of Vietnam(Van Mieu- Quoc Tu Giam). Later in the afternoon, roaming to
the old Quarter to learn more about the legend/history about Hoan Kiem
lake (the lake of the Restored Sword) with Ngoc Son Temple and
Pho co (Old quarter). Taking the special show- Water Puppet show
at Thang Long Theatre. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: HANOI –
HALONG BAY – the World heritage (B/L/D)
You are suggested
to wake up early for enjoying the morning sound of Hanoi and walking around
Hoan Kiem lake and doing Tai Chi exercise with locals.
Back to
hotel for freshen up and breakfast.
After breakfast,
take 3.5 hours drive to Halong bay, a World Heritage Area of
outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise
around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. The
cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. Again your
dinner served on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing (optional)
and later overnight on board.
Day 4: HALONG –
HANOI – DANANG on late afternoon flight ( Brunch)
In the morning,
your breakfast or brunch will be served while doing further cruise to
explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the Wharf. Disembark
around 10:30-11.00am. On return, before heading to Noibai airport we take a
short stop at Phu Lang Pottery village or Dong Ho Village
(traditional painting village)
Upon arrival in Danang airport, you are escorted by our tour guide to hotel
in Hoian city for overnight.
Day 5: HOIAN –
Cooking class at Red Bridge Cooking School (B/L)
Be ready at 8:00 at the Hai Scout Café in Hoi An’s old streets to meet the
chef. Visit a local market to buy the ingredients to be used in the cooking
lesson later. Board a boat for a leisurely cruise along the Thu Bon River to
the Red Bridge Cooking School. On arrival, explore the school’s herb and
vegetable garden, before learning about some of Hoi An and Vietnam’s
well-known dishes, which are a mix of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisines. The
cooking lesson lasts about 2 hours– each dish is first demonstrated by the
Red Bridge’s chef before you prepare the same dish by yourself. The class
also contains a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carvings (plate
decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat what we have cooked. Then
the boat will take you back to Hoi An town.
Your free time in
the afternoon for exploring the ancient town of Hoian.
Day
6: HOI AN – HUE (B)
After breakfast,
we leave Hoian for Hue with a stop in Danang to visit Cham museum
where you will see the open air collection of Cham breathtaking sculptures.
After arrival at Hue, we will visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue –
another UNESCO designated World Cultural Heritage site.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 7: HUE CITY
(B)
Today, we will
visit the King Tu Duc’s tomb (Tu Duc is a king but also a poet, so
his mausoleum is a poet garden), King Minh Mang tomb (typical formal
oriental style designed), and Thien Mu pagoda. In the late afternoon,
take a cruise on Huong River to watch sunset and relax at Vi Da Xua tea
saloon. Overnight in Hue.
Day
8: HUE – HO CHI MINH CITY- Cu Chi (B)
Take morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat
airport, heading to Cu Chi District to visit the incredible
underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the
long struggle for independence.
The tour guided by a soldier named Chu Nam (Uncle Nam) who is the witness of
history (subject to availability of Mr. Nam).
Back
to Hochiminh city for visiting the Reunification Palace, Noth Dame
Cathedral and Ben Thanh market. Overnight in Hochiminh city.
Day 9: HO CHI
MINH CITY – Mekong Delta full day (B/L)
In the
morning, take 2 hour drive southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta
which is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Upon arrival, take a boat cruise
along islets and tropical orchards through the canal of Vam Xep to reach a
small islet, followed by a relaxing walk along shady and palm fringed trails
passing by local villages where you can see their peaceful daily life. Stop
en route to sip special tea with honey and sample fruits with a local family
and share their stories of life in the Mekong Delta. They will guide you on
a walk through their orchard and explain how tropical fruits are grown. Then
continue the journey with a paddled sampan through the narrow, tree-lined
canals of Mekong River. Enjoy lunch at the islet then visit handicraft
villages and a coconut candy factory before returning on shore for driving
back to Ho Chi Minh City.
On the way back to Ho Chi Minh city we would like to suggest a stop to visit
one of the followings
(choose one place only)
+ Dong
Tam snake farm - is a center for breeding snakes producing venom for
exportation and an ecological zoo where different genes of rare & precious
animals in the Southern area are conserved. There is a museum of almost all
species of pythons and snakes in Vietnam. The farm has a collection of
mutant turtles and fish on exhibit.
+ Vinh
Trang Pagoda – an ancient southern architectural gem. Built in 1849, the
structure is a harmonious mixture of Asian and European architecture
including elements from the Renaissance period, Romanesque style, French
decorative flowers and Japanese enameled tile. There are many specious
statues made of wood, among which was a collection of 18 Bodhisattvas
sculpted in 1907, representing the summit in sculpture in the Mekong River
plains.
Day 10: HO CHI
MINH CITY - Departure (B)
Free time for
last minute shopping before going to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure
flight. End of service.
