In
the morning, take 2 hour drive southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong
Delta which is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Upon arrival, take a boat
cruise around islets and tropical orchards through the canal of Vam Xep
to reach a small islet, followed by a relaxing walk along shady and palm
fringed trails passing by local villages where you can see their peaceful
daily life. Stop en route to visit a bee farm, sip special tea with
honey and sample fruits with a local family and share their stories of life
in the Mekong Delta. Visit a small coconut workshop, just to get a
glimpse of typical family run business in this area.
Walk to a lane where a horse-drawn cart awaits you to transfer to
visit handicraft village, a coconut candy factory, enjoy tropical
fruit, traditional music and then relaxation with rowing boat
through the narrow under shade palm, tree-lined canals of Mekong River
before returning to My Tho by motorized boat.
Enjoy lunch at local restaurant on the islet before heading back Saigon

Cai Be
Floating Market is a famous place in Mekong Delta. Here the Tien River forms
the border between Tien Giang, Vinh Long and Ben Tre Provinces. Every day,
boats filled with fruits, vegetables and other products anchor
along the banks of the river, waiting for traders and customers. The place
is picturesque, and the trade is hot and fun.
Depart early in the morning. Upon arrival at Cai Be, take a
boat to cruise around Cai Be Floating Market. Visit local gardens and
houses to see orchard and local trade, etc. After lunch at an Ancient garden
house, we proceed to Vinh Long, passing a small and beautiful canal with
peaceful villages, the unique natural setting of Mekong Delta region. Stop at
An Binh islet to visit some of the famous fruit orchards. After crossing the
Co Chien river, the excursion ends at Vinh Long pier where our driver is
waiting to take you back to Saigon - end of tour.

boat to the floating market. Have lunch at an Ancient garden house, then proceed
to Vinh Long, passing a small and beautiful canal with peaceful tranquil
villages, the unique natural setting of Mekong Delta region. Stop at An Binh
islet to visit some of the famous fruit orchards. See how local people make
ceramics, popcorn and rice paper... A nice chance for bicycle riding through the
village and its handicraft shops. Another stop at Vinh Long market before
arriving to Can Tho. Over night in Can Tho.

Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Cruising along the small and picturesque tributaries by a rowing boat, we
will see the Cai Rang floating market (the nicest one with heaps of
rowing boats). See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals.
Walk around a village, visit a rice husking mill. Disembark at Ninh Kieu
quay, visit an ancient house (in Binh Thuy, 10 km from Cantho) and Cantho
museum. Have lunch at a local restaurant on the way back to Sai Gon via My
Tho.

restaurant for lunch. Then cruise along natural creeks and quiet villages in
Ben Tre Province. Visit orchards, bee farms, taste natural honey, honey wine
and tropical fruits, listen to local music, visit a distillery and a local
coconut candy maker. Then move to Can Tho to have dinner and cultural
exchange with a local family. Dinner and Homestay.
Day 2: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Early wake up for optional short biking or walking around the village and
visiting fruit gardens. After breakfast, cruise along the small and
picturesque tributaries by rowing boat to visit the Cai Rang floating
market
(the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Stop at another village to
visit a rice husking mill, and walk around the village. See the beautiful
scenery and daily activities of the locals. Disembark at Ninh Kieu quay,

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Cai Be – Sa Dec – Can Tho (L/D) Leave
at 7:00am from your hotel for Cai Be town. After embarkation, cruise to visit
some some home factories where you will observe how rice paste, coconut candies
and other specialties are traditionally made. We will then proceed to the
colorful Cai Be floating market with barges full of fruits and
vegetables. Cruise by Dong Phu and An Binh islets famous for their fruit
orchards. Crossing the large Co Chien River we will pass under the spectacular
My Thuan Bridge. We will then cruise along a small beautiful canal through
water jacinth plantations… Disembark to row along a narrow canal among tiny
local villages and fruit plantations. Sa Dec town will appear like a little “Venice” with numerous narrow
canals. Visit of this charming town with narrow streets with numerous beautiful
French houses and Chinese temples dated from the last century.
Your lunch will await you at an ancient house. Before sunset, we will have our
last stop on the banks arranged at a splendid ancient house dated from the early
19th century. After a candlelight dinner, we will proceed to Can Tho. We will
moor for the night in a quiet place. Your bed will be ready for a romantic night
on the Mekong River.
Day 2: Cai Rang - Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
At around 06am, your sampan will slowly start cruising. Your breakfast will be
served on board at 07am while approaching Cai Rang floating market, the
largest in the whole Mekong delta. We will pass by countless sampan boats
carrying sand, rice, fruits and vegetables, fish, flowers… trading hectically on
the river. Your journey will end at around 10.am at Ninh Kieu pier after a visit
to Can Tho local market. Return to Saigon by car. Tour ends at your hotel.

Day 1: Ho chiminh city – Cantho – Mang Thit (L/D) Leave
your hotel directly for Cantho city. Board the Mekong Eyes at 12.30. We
will show you to your rooms and around the boat. As lunch is served, start
cruising around the Delta. Through the panoramic windows in your room, the
dining room or sitting lounge, watch the daily life of the Mekong People flowing
by. The boat heads south east to Tra On, then up north east to Cai
Nhum. If you wish we can organize a little hike to the village. The boat
will anchor for the night about 2 hours away from Cai Be. The day ends with a
delicious dinner on-board.
Day 2: Cai Rang - Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B)
At 06.30 set off for a sunrise cruise. After breakfast, have a sampan boat tour
of Cai Be floating market, one of the region's busiest market places.
Talk and bargain with the merchants. Then visit some of the local candy makers.
Disembark at around 11.00 - 11.30 our car will pick you up to return to
Hochiminh city.

2: Can Tho - Thot Not - Chau Doc (B/L)
Start from Ninh Kieu boat quay, cruise along the small and picturesque
tributaries by a rowing boat, visit the Cai Rang floating market (the
nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). See the beautiful scenery and daily
activities of the locals. Walk around a village, visit a rice husking mill.
We then travel by land to Thot Not to visit Bang Lang Bird
Sanctuary (Stork Garden) or Crocodile Farm. On arrival in Chau
Doc, climd the Sam Mountain to enjoy the breath-taking view and the sunset
from its top. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 3: Chau Doc - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
A boat trip to a floating fish farms is the highlight of Chau Doc, a Cham
minority village, where traditional weaving remains the major trade. The last
stop in Chau Doc is to a local Muslim Mosque. Have lunch at a local
restaurant before going back to Ho Chi Minh City.

city. Check in homestay in Cantho. Enjoy a peaceful country life in
Mekong Delta with many activities such as fishing, river bathing, farming.
At dinner time, you will prepare your dinner together with a local family
and have cultural exchange. Diner and Homestay.
Day 3: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Biking or walking around the village and fruit gardens or again joining with
farmer with real actiities. Check out homestay before noon time for a transfer
back to Ho Chi Minh City. A stop at Mekong Restop for lunch. Tour ends at your
hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
