Top Alluring Islands For Honeymoon You Must Know

     I. Phuket

    1. Overview

Phuket is Thailand's largest and, probably, most famous island. The appeal includes blue waters, sandy beaches, spicy Thai cuisine, and good snorkeling and diving. Travelers from all over the world go to Phuket for relaxation and adventure, and the island is one of Thailand's most popular destinations.

Phuket has an excellent climate with warm, bright days all year. Monsoon season typically lasts from mid-May to October, but it may only rain once or twice each day during this time. Phuket is also quite accessible; it is only a one-hour flight away from all of Bangkok's major attractions.

    2. Best beaches

    2.1. Freedom Beach

Despite its location in the rowdy Patong neighborhood, Freedom Beach is far from what one may imagine. It's a calm, untouched beach that's far less accessible than the majority of the island's beaches since land access takes channeling your adventurous side and trekking through a jungle, but it's also attainable by boat. Any extra effort you make to visit this beautiful 300m strip of beach is well worth it; few people come here, so you can appreciate the clear, turquoise sea and the backdrop of lush, green shrubbery that lines the beach in relative quiet.

    2.2. Kata Noi Beach

Kata Noi, while only 700m long, packs a world of charm into such a short stretch of beach. It's much quieter than its larger, more popular neighbor, Kata Beach, and, while still quite developed, has more of that private island feel. It's good for day trips to the beach, with a couple of nice resorts and restaurants nearby, and the sea here is ideal for activities like snorkeling and surfing. Not interested in participating in activities? Not to worry, Kata Noi's tranquil surroundings make it an ideal location for simply relaxing and watching the world go by.

    2.3. Nai Harn Beach

Kata Noi, while only 700m long, packs a lot of charm into such a small area. It's much quieter than its larger, more popular neighbor, Kata Beach, and has more of a private island atmosphere, although it is highly developed. With a few decent resorts and restaurants nearby, it's ideal for day visits to the beach, and the sea here is ideal for activities like snorkeling and surfing. Not interested in taking part in activities? Not to worry, the quiet surroundings of Kata Noi make it a great setting for simply sitting and watching the world go by.

    2.4. Surin Beach

A beach visited by the late King Rama IX in the 1950s, it has since become a playground for the wealthy, with many high-end resorts and hotels nearby, as well as a golf course. It's easy to understand why: soft, white sand gives way to a picturesque row of palm trees, while the sea itself has both bright and deeper blue tones. A word of caution: the sea here is deeper than in other bays, so be cautious if you plan to swim. Aside from that, it's a very nice beach with some good restaurants and bars just a short walk away.

    3. Best resorts for honeymoon

    3.1.  The Naka Island

Naka Island is the ideal honeymoon destination for individuals who want to experience a resort with natural surroundings. Couples can dine alone under a magnificent canopy overlooking the bay, listening to the waves while savoring a gourmet four-course meal. It is most likely one of the most romantic hotels on Phuket.
Furthermore, this contemporary hotel is close to renowned city attractions such as Naka Yai Island, Ao Po Grand Marina, and Ao Po Pier. Its immediate position, however, is one of isolation, replete with its own private beach. Guests can observe local life since rubber plantations and a tiny fishing village are close.
    • Address: 32 Moo 5, Tambol Paklok, Nakha Yai Island, Phuket, Thailand

3.2. SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort

These villas, located in a hidden part of Mai Khao Beach, are genuinely world-class. Furthermore, guests staying here will undoubtedly appreciate complete solitude in a five-star setting. The accommodations are ideal for couples, with outdoor baths and soaking tubs for a romantic evening. The SALA is also set back from Patong's crowded streets, creating an exquisite location.
Each room is also designed differently in a Sino-Portuguese manner. In addition, the rooms include a private plunge pool as well as access to three more swimming pools on the resort's site. Furthermore, the SALA's rooftop restaurant provides breathtaking coastal views that are unrivaled.
    • Address: 333 Moo 3, Thalang District, Mai Khao, Phuket, Thailand

    II. Phi Phi

    1. Overview

Koh Phi Phi island is a stunning Thai destination with limestone hills, blue lagoons, and the world-famous Maya Bay beach.
There are two main islands: Phi Phi Leh and Phi Phi Don, all of which feature breathtaking landscapes. Don Island features hotels, restaurants, and other amenities, but Leh Island is virtually uninhabited.
It's simple to visit the Phi Phi islands on a day trip (by boat) from Phuket, Krabi, Khao Lak, or Koh Lanta, giving you ample time to view Maya Bay and the other prominent attractions, or you may stay a few days on Phi Phi Don and do even more exploration.

    2. Best attractions

    2.1. Maya Bay

Maya Bay's white sand beach is one of Thailand's most famous and attractive locations, and it is largely responsible for introducing tourism to the Koh Phi Phi islands. In fact, it is currently one of the world's most famous beaches!
Tall limestone cliffs encircle the entire beach. The sea is turquoise and clear, with tiny sharks swimming around, and the beach is as white as snow. Everything about it appears to be flawless. Yes, this is heaven!
Of course, the beauty of Maya Bay, like any other great spot in the world, has attracted tourist swarms, but if you schedule your visit well, you can still enjoy the beach without too many people.

    2.2. Pileh Lagoon

One of the nicest things to view on Thailand's Phi Phi island is this stunning blue lagoon flanked by massive rock walls.
The lagoon can only be reached by boat. Most Koh Phi Phi trips include a stop here, and smaller boats can float into and around the lagoon, providing up-close views of the magnificent limestone karsts. Although there is no coral in this area, it is a favorite swimming and snorkeling place on Koh Phi Phi Leh because the water is very clear and very shallow, and you may even see some excellent fish.

    2.3. Monkey Bay

On Phi Phi Don island, there is a nice little beach where you can watch wild monkeys. On the beach, there are dozens of monkeys (long-tailed macaques), and you can often observe baby monkeys.
It's preferable to visit this beach at low tide when there are more monkeys on the sand. The beach is mostly flooded at high tide, and the monkeys withdraw to the rocks, where they can't be seen as well.

    3. Best resorts for honeymoon

    3.1. Zeavola Resort and Spa

The exquisite barefoot Zeavola Resort, a 10-acre tropical retreat on the northern coast of Koh Phi Phi Don, is one of the island's only two 5-star resorts.
Zeavola offers hidden-away individual apartments fashioned from hand-hewn teakwood and boasts a gorgeous and quiet private beach. The apartments are designed to resemble the old-style island dwellings originally inhabited by early immigrants, and the result is quite effective.
    • Address: 11 Moo 8 Laem Tong, Koh Phi Phi, Ao Nang, Krabi, Thailand

3.2. SAii Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort

The Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort provides guests with the ideal combination of privacy and sophistication. The resort is located on 70 acres of private land at the northernmost end of Phi Phi Don and features a half-mile stretch of private beach as well as an infinity pool with a swim-up bar.
The wonderful location, far enough away from Ton Sai Village to drown out the dancing sound, is a big hit for those searching for a luxurious vacation on Koh Phi Phi. Although it is a family-friendly resort, the expensive facilities seem to draw largely couples celebrating an anniversary (or simply getting away from the crowds).
    • Address: 49 Moo 8, Phi Phi Island, Ao Nang, Amphoe Muang, Phi Phi Don, Thailand

    Saii Phi Phi Island Village

3.3. Phi Phi CoCo Beach Resort

The CoCo Beach Resort is one of the newest hotels in Koh Phi Phi, offering exceptional accommodation on the 'party' side of the island, with distinctively built accommodations and an enviable beachfront location.
We've been looking at the accommodation on the peaceful side of the island so far. But what if you want to party while also having a luxury room to return to at the end of the night?  In that situation, the CoCo Beach Resort may be the best option.
Most visitors notice the stunning outdoor swimming pool, which serves as the resort's focal point. The beaches are easily accessible, with Loh Dalum Beach right at your feet as you step out of your oceanfront home. The popular Monkey Beach is only 550 yards away by kayak, which is available to all visitors for free.
    • Address: 299 Moo 7, Phi Phi Island, T.Aonang, A.Muang Krabi, Phi Phi Don, Thailand

    III. Koh Jum

    1. Overview

The green Koh Jum island, one of Thailand's most easygoing and authentic islands, has managed to keep its slow pace of life and rustic charm even while many of the islands around it have succumbed to mass development. It's amazing that Koh Jum, smack dab in the heart of three of Thailand's most popular destinations - Krabi, Koh Lanta, and Koh Phi Phi - still delivers the kind of tranquil, Thai island experience that has long vanished on so many other islands.
The characteristic viewpoint, renowned cave, and top snorkeling area that draws so many visitors to Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, and even Koh Mook is missing on Koh Jum. This gives it an easy pass for island hoppers and tour groups. But for those prepared to sit in and explore a little, Koh Jum is a nice, laid-back destination with several lengthy beaches to wander and tranquil spots to slow down.

    2. Best attractions

    2.1. Coconut beach

The lovely and incredibly lonely Coconut Beach is a true insider recommendation. The beach is located in the northern portion of the island and is ideal for those who prefer peace and quiet.  It is one of the most stunning beaches on Koh Jum due to its tall palm trees and lovely ambiance. If you stay at the lovely Mupa Resort, you will have this beach almost entirely to yourself.

    2.2. Golden Pearl beach

Golden Pearl Beach is without a doubt one of the nicest beaches on Koh Jum. This beach is also the most popular, although there are no crowds here. Why not have a refreshing drink at the iconic Fu Bar and relive the incredible atmosphere?

    2.3. Ao Si beach

Ao Si Beach, with its silky sand, is undoubtedly the most photogenic beach on Ko Jum. This is an ideal location for swimming and sunbathing. The beach is easily accessible by scooter, and the vibrant Sun Smile Beach Resort is situated on the beach.

    3. Best resorts for honeymoon

    3.1. Koh Jum Beach Villas

Koh Jum Beach Villas is a private beachfront eco-resort for those who want to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of long, quiet beaches and lush tropical landscapes. This unique enclave of Luxury Villas offers opulent accommodations, each with a master bedroom suite, guest suites, and a dining and relaxing area. Guests may relax, explore, and unwind in this tropical paradise thanks to an excellent restaurant, lounge, pool, dining-in, massage, and sightseeing/snorkeling tours. Located on a 4-kilometre west-facing beach with spectacular views of the Koh Phi Phi marine park.
    • Address: 320/29 Moo 3 T. Koh Sriboya, Nua Klong, Ko Jum 81130 Thailand

    Koh Jum Beach Villas

    3.2. Oon Lee Bungalows

It does not have to be difficult to find a nice modest hotel in Koh Jum. Welcome to Oon Lee Bungalows, a pleasant option for visitors like you. Oon Lee Bungalow rooms include a mosquito net and a seating space. Visitors looking for a restaurant near Oon Lee Bungalows can go to Oonlee Bungalow Restaurant (0.0 mi), Sabaidee Luboh (1.1 mi), or Last Fisher (0.2 mi), which are all within walking distance. Oon Lee Bungalows puts the best of Ko Jum at your fingertips, ensuring a relaxed and delightful visit.
    • Address: 119 Moo 5, Amphoe Nuea Khlong, Tambon Koh Sriboya, Krabi, 81130 Ko Jum, Thailand

    3.3. Banyan Bay Villas

Banyan Bay Villas is located 160 meters from a peaceful sandy beach on Koh Pu and is surrounded by lovely natural settings. Each villa has a private balcony overlooking a green garden and offers magnificent Thai-style private villas with complimentary Wi-Fi.
The Banyan Bay Villas is a one-hour drive from Krabi Airport. It takes 40 minutes by boat to go to Ao Nang and 50 minutes to get to Koh Lanta and Koh Phi Phi.
Each traditional Thai-style wooden home is decorated simply with natural materials, allowing guests to feel closer to nature. Villas have a fan, a seating space, and a safety deposit box. An en suite bathroom includes shower facilities.
    • Address: 292 Moo 2, Koh Sriboya, Nuea Klong, Krabi, 81130 Ko Jum, Thailand

    IV. Koh Lanta

    1. Overview

Ko Lanta (sometimes spelled Koh Lanta) is a stunning Thai island located just off the coast of Krabi. Its lengthy coastline is home to about a dozen beaches, some of which are regarded as the best in the country, each with its own distinct charm and vibe.
The tourist season in Ko Lanta lasts from October to April, with the peak months being December to March. A growing number of visitors come during the Green Season (May to October), when daily rainfall is usually limited to a few hours.

    2. Best beaches

    2.1. Laem Kho Kwang Beach

This is the nearest beach to the boat terminal after arriving on Koh Lanta, only 5 minutes away. It is long, sandy, and gorgeous (as are almost all of the beaches on Koh Lanta). One thing to keep in mind with Laem Kho Kwang is that it has a tremendous tide.
That means that if you go during low tide, the water will be far out and rocky if you wish to swim. At high tide, though, it is simply perfect! Because many visitors drive further south on the island, this beach is generally deserted.

    Laem Kho Kwang beach

    2.2. Long Beach

Long Beach, one of the most popular beaches on Koh Lanta, truly lives up to its name! The smooth golden sand extends on forever, and you could easily spend your entire vacation on Koh Lanta.
The beach is lined with lively restaurants, hip bars, and hotels. Nonetheless, the party atmosphere is not overpowering. If you enjoy nothing more than long walks on the beach, this is the place to be on Koh Lanta!

    2.3. Lanta  Klong Nin Beach

Continuing south, you'll find another of Koh Lanta's greatest beaches! Klong Nin Beach is not only beautiful, but it also contains everything you need if you can find adequate accommodations.
It's in the center of the island, therefore it's the ideal area to base oneself. You can go north to the port and Long Beach, south to the National Park, or traverse the island to Old Town... If you ever decide to leave!

    3. Best resorts for honeymoon

    3.1. Pimalai Resort and Spa

Pimalai is a magnificent tropical forest retreat with direct access to a 900-meter-long virgin sandy beach. The beach resort has it all: subtle five-star luxuries, natural beauty away from the people, and no noise except the sound of the waves moving in and out and softly breaking upon the sand. It is absolutely ideal for your honeymoon.
With boutique furnishings, luxurious décor, and a breathtaking balcony view, it provides the most pleasant experience! The greatest option is to stay in beachfront homes with private pools. Sit on the beach to watch the sunset, or take a sunset boat on Koh Haa to enjoy the Andaman Sea. The resort in Ko Lanta will provide an unforgettable honeymoon experience.
    • Address: 99 Moo 5, Ba Kan Tiang Beach, Ko Lanta 81150 Thailand

    Pimalai Resort and Spa

3.2. Twin Lotus Resort & Spa

The Twin Lotus Resort New facilities include a brand new Spa & Wellness Center as well as a Beachfront Bar & Restaurant on 12 acres of gardens and a 3-kilometer white-sand beach. Twin Lotus has two swimming pools where you may lay out in the sun or relax in the shade.
What can you discover if you stay here? Aside from diving adventures, snorkeling, and other activities such as Thai cooking classes, elephant trekking, and fishing trips are also provided. Last but not least, a visit to Lanta Old Town is essential. This is a modest and charming town populated by Thai fisherman families. This resort's magnificent landscape and tranquil environment will make your honeymoon unforgettable!
    • Address: 199, Moo 1 Sala Dan, Klong Dao Beach, Ko Lanta 81150 Thailand

    3.3. Alanta Villa

Alanta Villa, located on Ko Lanta, an untouched Andaman Sea island, offers 2 and 3 bedroom villas with private pool, fully furnished kitchen, sitting room, and small garden. Every villa is encircled by lush greenery and a wall, ensuring solitude and making it ideal for a couple's honeymoon.
Alanta Villa is perched on a mountainside among lush vegetation and fauna. There were numerous restaurants, bars, and a 7-Eleven close. Motorbikes are ideal for exploring Koh Lana, from the quiet empty white sand beaches in the south to the strolling Street and the old town on the east side. There is so much to see, and this location is ideal for your special holiday.
    • Address: 429 Moo 2, Tambon Saladan, Ko Lanta 81150 Thailand

    V. Koh Samui

    1.Overview

Due to its affordable beach shacks and full-moon parties, Koh Samui was once a backpacker's verdant favorite. Today, Koh Samui is Thailand's most opulent honeymoon destination. Koh Samui is the ideal destination for a honeymoon because of its first-rate luxury hotels, unique spas, mouthwatering international cuisine, yoga retreats, and exciting adventure activities. Super-luxury hotels, beach clubs, and Michelin-starred restaurants are fantastic lodging choices that help to create the idyllic image of a Thai beach vacation. Celebrate your honeymoon by having a good time with your spouse on the white sands or having a wild time at one of the many full moon parties.

    2. Best beaches

    2.1. Chaweng Beach

The main beach on Koh Samui is noted for its sparkling azure seas and silky white sands. Chaweng Beach is seven kilometers long, but due to its popularity, it is frequently busy and rarely peaceful. However, if you like tremendous waves, lots of excitement, a variety of water sports, and the opportunity to dive, this is the beach for you.

    2.2. Silver Beach

Silver Beach (also known as Haad Thong Ta-khian or "the beach of the Ta-khian trees") may only be 250 meters long, but don't let that fool you. As far as beaches go, this one is among the greatest on the island.
The beach, located on the east side of the island (if possible, arrive early to view the sunrise from the sand), is home to various laid-back activities, such as snorkeling, Thai massages directly against the waves, and sea kayak rentals. The bay's green waters are also ideal for swimming.

    2.3. Thongson Bay

Thongson Bay is a well-kept secret among visitors, the type of beach where you may find yourself almost alone if you arrive early enough. Because the region is underdeveloped, it is removed from the rush and bustle while yet providing basic facilities such as renting a beach lounger, grabbing a quick bite to eat, or finding a kayak to take on the tranquil seas.
Thongson Bay, located towards the northern end of Koh Samui, is only half a kilometer long and offers breathtaking views of Koh Phangan across the crystal-blue ocean. While much of the beach here is powdery white sand, powdery coral debris can be difficult on the feet in some sections, especially when the tide comes in.

    2.4. Maenam Beach

Maenam is one of Koh Samui's cheapest beaches. On the beach, bungalows abound, providing plenty of magnificent views without breaking the bank. That isn't to say there aren't opulent resorts nearby; it's just that there are plenty of options at both ends of the spectrum.
Maenam beach is about seven kilometers long, therefore most visitors stick to one section rather than attempting to explore the entire length. You'll find a lot more privacy if you head near the end of it in either direction. However, no matter where you end yourself, the Maenam neighborhood has very little rush and bustle. Instead, there's a weekly night market, a temple, and plenty of possibilities to swim or kayak in the surrounding turquoise seas.

    3. Best resorts for honeymoon

    3.1. Four seasons

Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui is situated on a hill in the north of Koh Samui.
The villas at this resort exude elegance, with superb hardwood furnishings, artwork, and pastel colors in the inside. The one-bedroom home villa is ideal for honeymooners. You'll have your own private infinity pool and outdoor patio with sea views.
Relax and enjoy added opulence by arranging a personal chef or in-villa wellness treatments. The Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui includes six restaurants and bars, serving everything from Thai cuisine to fresh seafood and grilled meats.
Reading a book in the cozy library, getting a massage on the beach, or drinking in the Rum Vault are top favourable activities for honeymoon.
    • Address: 219 Moo 5, Angthong, Koh Samui, Surat Thani, 84140 Mae Nam, Thailand

    3.2. Banyan Tree

On Koh Samui's east coast, Banyan Tree Samui borders a stunning white beach.
The villas vary from intimate Deluxe to royal grandeur in the Royal Banyan ocean pool villa. All villas will have private pools from which to enjoy the water views.
Saffron, a Thai restaurant, and The Edge, an outdoor eatery, are two options for dining. Arrange a romantic private meal on the beach to truly make the honeymoon memorable.
Address: 99/9 Moo 4, Maret, Koh Samui, Surat Thani, 84310 Lamai, Thailand

    3.3. Vana Belle

This resort features exquisite rooms and villas set between rainforests and Thailand's deep blue Gulf. There is nothing left to desire with the private patio, personal butler, private pool, and large bathroom.
You can relax during the day at the spa or by the beachside infinity pool with cabanas. Dine alone in your suite, al fresco in one of the restaurants, or schedule a romantic supper on the beach.

    3.4. Melia Koh Samui

This 5-star resort delivers in terms of luxury, from the spacious suites to the wealth of amenities. You'll be greeted with a fruit basket, a complimentary minibar, and a large bathtub in which to enjoy the drinks and nibbles.
Begin the day with a breakfast buffet provided in Koko Kitchen. Melia Koh Samui also features three other bars and restaurants for fast nibbles, magnificent dinners, and all-day cocktails. Relax in the beautiful pool, book a relaxing treatment at the YHI Spa, or stay fit during your holiday with a workout in the gym.
