Mekong Delta named as one of best destinations to visit in 2019

haiviet HCM CITY — The British magazine Conde Nast Traveller has listed Việt Nam’s Mekong Delta among the best destinations to visit in 2019. With the area’s numerous waterways, the ideal means of transportation is a speedboat which, according to the magazine, can give visitors an authentic experience of "delta life".
The most famous destinations in the area are the floating markets. Visitors should try the amazing dishes and fresh fruits sold on boats and watch the unique scenes of trading between boats at the markets. Cái Răng in Cần Thơ City, Ngã Bảy in Hậu Giang Province and Cái Bè in Tiền Giang Province are some of the most notable markets.
Located in the southwest of Việt Nam, the Mekong Delta is the nation’s agricultural hub and boasts the largest seafood exports.
