Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1

    CHIANG MAI – PAI

    Pick up with minibus from your Chiang Mai hotel and head north to visit the orchid and Butterfly nursery on the way.

    Continue driving through beautiful mountain scenery then you will visit a local Thai market and see them selling their products.

    Continue the trip to visit Mok Fha Waterfall and Pong Duat Hot Spring in the National Park. Lunch will be provided on the way.

    In the afternoon travel to Pai, a small charming city. Visit Wat Mae Yen temple, then Lod Cave which is filled with grand stalagmites and stalactites.
     
    Dinner is served at a Chinese restaurant, then you can wander around the night market where hill tribes sell their goods. Return to your resort in Pai.
     
    Overnight at Ban Thai Resort or Simial.

     

  • Day 2

    PAI – ROYAL PROJECT – KAREN HILLTRIBE LODGE

    Breakfast at the resort in Pai.
     
    Continue the trip to Wat Chan.  Visit Baan Chan Temple, then visit a Lisu hill tribe village and Royal Project where non indigenous fruit and vegetables are grown.
     
    After that visit a local school at Baan Huay Ya, see the way of their study and enjoy teaching some English with local children. Lunch at a natural pine forest.
     
    Head into the mountains over narrow mountain roads to the luxurious Karen Hill Tribe Lodge at a Karen hill tribe village. After a welcome drink from the Karen villagers you can relax at the lodge or take the opportunity to explore the surrounding hill tribe village.
     
    After a delicious dinner, enjoy chatting around the camp fire and followed by a fascinating Karen Hill Tribe cultural show with musical instruments and lively performances of proud young hill tribe people. The show gives guests an insight into the lifestyle of the hill tribe people.

  • Day 3

    KAREN HILL TRIBE LODGE – RETURN TO CHIANG MAI

    After a great breakfast, walk around the village and witness early morning activities at the Karen hill tribe village. After a short trek to the elephant camp, experience the world from the perspective of the elephant as you trek over a jungle clad mountain back to the lodge. Lunch will be provided.

    After lunch, continue the trip to Chiang Mai via Samerng. Drive through beautiful scenery, visit the Hmong Hill Tribe sVillage and Strawberry plantation on the way.
     
    Then return to Chiang Mai, arriving around 16h30 where you transfer to your hotel or airport for your next destination.

 A. CANCELLATION POLICY:

The cancellation charges below refer to the non-transferable fee that is charged to the group member who has cancelled their tour:
  • More than 45 days before departure: No cancellation charge
  • Between 45 and 30 days before departure: 10% of total tour cost 
  • Between 30 days and 15 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost
  • Between 15 days and 7 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 90% of total tour cost
  • No-show at the airport on the day of arrival/departure: 100% of total tour cost 
 

B. CHILDREN POLICY (land service only)

  • Child from 1- 4 yrs:  Free of charge if sharing bed with parents 
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 30% of adult price if sharing existing bed(s) with parents
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 50% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 7 – 11 yrs: charge 75% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 12 yrs up: pay as adult rate
