Detailed Itinerary

• Day 1

  BANGKOK – AYUTTHAYA – KHAO YAI

   After check out from hotel, journey on to Ayutthaya visit the three most famous attractions in Ayuthaya. During the trip you will visit the principal sights: Wat Sri Sanphet - this important and outstanding monastery was used as a residential palace in the reign of King Ramathibodi I. Wat Phananchoeng: This monastery existed before Ayutthaya was founded as the capital. The principal 19 metres high Buddha image is made of stucco and is the most revered by the inhabitants of Ayutthaya. Wat Yai Chaimongkhol: The chedi at this monastery is among the largest in Ayutthaya and was built by King Naresuan (1590-1605). There are many Buddha images and a beautiful garden behind this chedi. Continue to Khao Yai Winery, one of the largest winery in Thailand for Wine Tasting Tours which include a tour of the vineyards and the winery as well a wine tasting of the wines available at the estate. Lunch with a glass of wine will be served during Wine tasting Tours. Then continue to hotel for checking in.

• Day 2

  KHAO YAI

   Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

  Today, we drive to visit Prasat Hin Phimai, is the largest sandstone sanctuary in Thailand almost situated in the center of Phimai Ancient city, which carries a rectangular shape of 665 meters wide and 1,030 meters long. The Sanctuary has been magnificently restored and renovated ruins and has been preserved as a National Historical Park. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
  Then, proceed to visit one of villages famous for silk weaving in Pak Thong Chai. Stepping off the minibus in Pak Thong Chai, there is no difficulty in finding the stores where finished silk products were on sale. We browse in the stores before meeting a knowledgeable local who is willing to show you the village's silk weaving process. Local people will guide you through the quiet and winding back streets of the village; our guide will explain to you the process of producing silk. First, silkworms are fed upon the leaves of mulberry trees. Upon maturity, the silkworm creates a cocoon made of silk filaments, which unwound produces approximately 550 - 730 meters of silk thread. After visit the village, we will drive back to hotel.
  Around 08:00 p.m., head out on a night safari with your guide to look out for nocturnal wildlife in the grasslands. Possible wildlife sightings include sambar, porcupine, palm civet, small Indian civet and barking deer.

• Day 3

  KHAO YAI – KANCHANABURI

   Breakfast will be served at hotel.

  After breakfast at the hotel, check out and depart to Samchuk market in Suphanburi. At present, Samchuk Market is commonly known as ‘100 Years Old Market’.  The spirits of the old market and the locals’ way of life by the river have never been changed.  The magical spell of Samchuk market has still been enchanting the younger generations to visit and reminisce the atmosphere of the ancient market of our grand parents’ era.  Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Then depart to Kanchanburi for visiting the famous bridge and the beginning of the 'Death Railway' is a poignant reminder of the thousands of POW’s and forced laborers who lost their lives in the Second World War during the construction works of the railway. Continue to visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Museum, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway. The fully air-conditioned center offers the visitor an educational and moving experience. Continue to visit the War Cemetery before check in at hotel.

• Day 4

  KANCHANABURI

   Breakfast will be served at the hotel.

  In the morning, pick up from the hotel to Nong Khao Village by local truck. Upon arrival, start a village tour by local truck; visit the village shrine and a fan palm orchard in the rice paddy field to observe how the locals collect the palm products. Try some local products and a variety of tropical fruits regarded the best in the world. Then the demonstration of ritual to strengthen and comfort the spirit of the Rice Goddess will enhance your understanding of the role rice plantation has played in Thai farming society. Return to the village along the dirt track cutting to through the fields. En route, observe some seasonal activities and pleasant sight of cattle, patched of lotus, sugar cane and corn farms. Enjoy learning how to make sticky-rice crisps with local villagers. Glimpse a cluster of Thai styled houses then earthen pots reflecting the local belief in their ancestral spirit. Enjoy coffee served with fan palm cake, then visit the village weaving center. Hand-woven clothes, bamboo handicrafts and sticky rice or palm clear whisky and wine are available for direct shopping from the local producers. Return to the temple and transfer back to the hotel.
  Late afternoon, transfer for Thai massage and Ayurvedic Therapy in the splendidly peaceful location of contemporary Thai House. Then ultimately enjoy the private Thai cooking class including tips and secrets behind the worldwide reputation of Thai cuisine that you may never know without directly learning from the local Thais. Then enjoy having what you have cooked amidst the distinctive warmth and friendly atmosphere of Thai house. After dinner return to hotel.

• Day 5

  KANCHNABURI – (BANGKOK OR CHA AM)

   Breakfast will be served at hotel.

  Time will be at leisure until check out and transfer to Bangkok or Cha-am for your overnight hotel.
