Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1

    BANGKOK ARRIVAL

    Our guide with flower garland will pick you up at airport to transfer you to Tower Club @ Lebua or Pensinula. After checking in at the hotel, you will be brought a bottle of chilled champagne in the room. Dinner at the top restaurant at the hotel.

  • Day 2

    BANGKOK ORIENTATION

    After breakfast gets you off for a full day city tour of Bangkok. It begins with the Trimitr Wat, the temple with the "Golden Buddha", a Buddha statue made of 5.5 tons of pure gold. The journey continues through Chinatown to the temple with the reclining Buddha,Wat Pho. This temple was originally a school for the traditional Thai - built massage. The Wat Phra Keio and the Royal Palace is the next target. For lunch you will stop off at a Thai restaurant by the river. 

    In the afternoon followed by a tour of the canal khlongs of Thonburi, Bangkok's neighboring city of. Overnight in Bangkok. 
     
    Optional with cruise dinner for your best Thailand holiday: By 18:00 - to be picked up for dinner. Today it goes to River City, a boat landing near the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel. With a fully developed, large rice barge, the "Wan Fah" take the next 2 hours on the Chao Phaya River. While you enjoy your dinner on board the Bootees to draw many beautiful buildings enlightened past you. Return to your hotel about 22:00.
  • Day 3

    BANGKOK – DINNER SHOW

    This day is at leisure. You can go shopping to relax, or take other visits. We will gladly make suggestions.

    Around 17:30, you will be picked up and taken to Ratchadapisek Road. After dinner (international buffet) you will get to see the Siam Niramit histories show. The 80-minute show takes visitors on a journey into the mystical past of Thailand and gives an insight into the cultural and historical heritage of the country. With a total of 150 cast the show with one of the world's largest stage productions.
    The show is performed in three acts.
    • The first part will address the theme "Journey Back to History" and tells the history of Siam, the Kingdom of Thailand.
    • In the second part is the theme of "Journey Beyond Imagination" on the program. Here, the viewers learn more about the relationships between the three worlds spiritual paradise, hell and the world in between Himapaan.
    • The last act is entitled "Journey Through Joyous Festivals" and gives an overview of the festivals and celebrations that take place during the year.

    Overnight in Bangkok. 

     

  • Day 4

    BANGKOK – AYUTHAYA – SUKHOTHAI

    At about 8 a.m, our guide will pick you up at your hotel in Bangkok. First you drive about 60 km north to Bang Pa-In, a former royal palace, which is still regarded as a summer residence of the king.

    With a motor boat then continue upstream to the River Chaophaya to Ayuthaya, former capital of Bangkok. Visit here, the most important temples that were destroyed in 1767 by the Burmans. Among other things, you see the Wat Phanan Choen, Wat Yai Mongkol and Wat Rachaburana.

    You will have lunch at a Thai restaurant a river. Continue through the Central Plains and Nakhon Sawan via Singaburi up to Sukothai. Arrive in Sukhothai in the late afternoon. Overnight at Resort at Tharaburi Sukothai (Grand Deluxe room). 

  • Day 5

    SUKHOTHAI – LAMPANG

    Sukhothai was the first capital city of the former Kingdom of Siam, at 13-14th century. Visit the most ancient plants, such as Wat Mahatat, Wat Sra Sri and Wat Si Sawai. Due to this huge park you can either let the car drive through your supervisor or rent bicycles.

    Then drive to  Phitsanoloke. Visit here Mahatat Wat, one of the most beautiful temples in central Thailand. From Phitsanoloke it goes north of Uttaradit, through the mountains up to Lampang. Lunch is taken en route at a local restaurant.

  • Day 6

    LAMPANG – CHIANG MAI

    Near the city of Lampang is a very typical for the north of Thailand's temples, Wat Lampang Luang Phratat, which was mainly built of teakwood. After another 20 km drive takes you to the market Tungvien. Here the inhabitants of the surrounding mountain villages and sell all kinds of exotic animals. When you look at the Lampuhn Haripunchai Wat, one of the oldest temples in northern Thailand. Arrive in Chiang Mai around noon. Check the Bodhi Serene Hotel. 

    Afternoon drive to the craft villages of Borsang and San Kamphaeng. We show you how Thai silk, teak wood carvings, silverware, lacquer ware and umbrellas are made. 
     
    In the evening, a dinner will be held in Kantoke Old Culture Center of Chiang Mai. You will get typical dishes of Northern Thailand's pre-sets. The following dances are also typical of Chiang Mai and its surroundings, which is one of the best things in this exclusive Thailand holiday.

  • Day 7

    CHIANG MAI CITY TOUR

    Around 7.30, you are from Chiang Mai in the north, to run in the 50 km distant in Chiang Dao, where there is an elephant camp which is not so much visited by tourists. If you spend this Thailand holiday with your kids, this activity will be the most memorable experience for them!

    After a 30 minute elephant show you will be riding on an elephant through the jungle a short hours. With a bamboo raft to you is it then a further hour on the narrow river rafting Maeping, past a beautiful landscape (completely safe). Lunch on the road, then drive back to Chiang Mai. Overnight at Bodhi Serene Hotel.

  • Day 8

    CHIANG MAI – BANGKOK

    Morning visit to Wat Doi Suthep, the most beautiful temple in northern Thailand, about 14 km outside of Chiang Mai, situated on a hill, from which there is good weather for a beautiful view of Chiang Mai. Check out the hotel and transfer to airport for beach extension or back home.
