Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Siem Reap – Arrival

     Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, welcomed by guide and transferred to your hotel in the city center for check-in. You will be free for the remainder of the day. Overnight in Siem Reap.

  • Day 2

    Siem Reap – Elephant ride, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Angkor Wat (B)

     Start the day with an elephant ride past the temples, you’ll feel like Khmer royalty! Explore the temples of Angkor Thom today the main highlight is the Bayon with its hundreds of smiling faces and the stories of the Khmer empire carved along its walls.  See the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King

     
    After noon, visit the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. Ta Prohm was built in the 12th century. It’s a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of King Jayavarman VII.

  • Day 3

    Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake (B/L)

    Continue another day explore Siem Reap city
     
    Leave the town to visit the well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way, make stopover at the Preah Dark village, visit local house and interact with kids in village. Following this with a visit to the Banteay Samre Temple, adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
     
    This afternoon, drive to the floating village of Choueng Kneas you will take a private boat to visit the way of life of Cambodian poor people. These villages even include schools, restaurants, hospitals and much more floating around on the great lake of Tonle Sap. You may even see enterprising children floating in buckets selling soft drinks and floating big pen.

  • Day 4

    Siem Reap – Day in A Life Village Experience (B/L)

     A guided full day adventure into a local Cambodian Village that benefits the local community & works collectively with villagers.  Enjoy a guided walking tour of the village & ox cart ride, before meeting your host family.  Learn about village life and customs, while having the opportunity to ask your guide any questions you may have on life in Cambodia, culture and customs.  Work with your host family on village activities and assisting them at their home. A hot Khmer style lunch is prepared by local family.

  • Day 5

    Siem Reap – Phnom Penh By Flight (B)

     After breakfast, you will board a morning flight to Phnom Penh. Landing in Phnom Penh, you're welcomed by our guide and explore the highlights of Phnom Penh including Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Museum

  • Day 6

    Phnom Penh – countryside cycling (B/L)

     After breakfast, drive to riverfront where you will take a local ferry across the Tonle Sap River and cycle north along the far bank of the river. There will be a chance to visit a Chinese style Pagoda. Continue the ride by taking a ferry to cross to Koh Areyksath, where you will enjoy a gentle ride around this small Mekong Island with its fertile farmland and small village communities. En route, stop at a school to learn a little about Cambodia’s school system, a typical modern Khmer Wat, and a silk weaving house to see how those lovely silk scarves are produced.

  • Day 7

    Phnom Penh – Koh Rong island (B)

     After breakfast, drive 4 hrs to Sihanoukville for a 1hr ferry trip to beautiful Koh Rong Island. Stay overnight on Koh Rong.

     Take 1 hour ferry trip to Sihanoukville and driver another 4hrs to Phnom Penh city airport for your departure.

A. CANCELLATION POLICY:
The cancellation charges below refer to the non-transferable fee that is charged to the group member who has cancelled their tour:
  • More than 45 days before departure: No cancellation charge
  • Between 45 and 30 days before departure: 10% of total tour cost 
  • Between 30 days and 15 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost
  • Between 15 days and 7 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 90% of total tour cost
  • No-show at the airport on the day of arrival/departure: 100% of total tour cost
 
B. CHILDREN POLICY (land service only)
  • Child from 1- 4 yrs:  Free of charge if sharing bed with parents 
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 30% of adult price if sharing existing bed(s) with parents
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 50% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 7 – 11 yrs: charge 75% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 12 yrs up: pay as adult rate
