Detailed Itinerary

  • Day 1

    ARRIVE YANGON

     Arrive at the Yangon International Airport, meet our assigned guide and transfer to Hotel. Check in Hotel. (If available)

    Afternoon, excursion to Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha  and  Shwe Dagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world and the most venerated Buddhist Monument in Myanmar, where one can see the lifestyle of Myanmar People.
     
    Overnight at Hotel.
  • Day 2

    YANGON - HEHO by flight / HEHO – PINDAYA – KALAW by car (B)

     Breakfast at hotel.

    To Begin our Myanmar holiday we will go to the airport for Heho, the Shan State known for its colourful markets, scenery, country sides and especially its people, a mixture of tribal races. Upon arrival at Heho Airport, transfer to Pindaya, 100 km away from Inle Lake. On the way enjoy the scenic beauty along the country side. Visit Pindaya Cave, well known for its countless Buddha Images and Pindaya lake.
    Proceed to to Kalaw, which was formerly a British Hill Station.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 3

    KALAW – INLE LAKE by car and boat (B)

     Breakfast at hotel.

    Kalaw, there are good trekking and hiking possibilities to the neighboring hill tribe villages, which still alive the same as they did centuries ago. Enjoy walking through Kalaw, visiting the local market, the tiny train station and perhaps walking up the hill to see the old catholic church (if open).
    Transfer to Inle Lake - one of the most famous place of Myanmar holiday, excursion of the lake well known for its scenic beauty and its unique leg rower.
    Transfer to hotel and take a rest of the day.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 4

    INLE – INDEIN BOAT EXCURSION (B)

     Breakfast at hotel.

    Morning visit to Indein Pagoda complex is situated on the west bank of Inle Lake. The group of pagodas is built by Pa-O tribes. It takes about 1 ½ by boat from Nyaung Shwe. This is one of the scenic boat tours in Inle. When the boat reaches Indein market, walk along the covered stairway to reach 1050 hidden pagodas of Indein.
    Tour highlights include Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda;  Ngaphae Chaung typical  Shan Monastery of jumping cats; wonderful floating gardens; native method of fishing; traditional weaving villages; and village life in the lake.
    Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day 5

    INLE – HEHO by boat and car / HEHO – MANDALAY by flight (B)

     Breakfast at hotel.

    Morning transfer to Heho Airport and proceed to Mandalay. Upon arrival in Mandalay, excursion to Ancient Capital Amarapura, 11 Kilometers south of Mandalay visiting Mahagandayon monastery; 1.2 kilometer long U Bein Wooden Bridge and visit silk-weaving factory. Check in at hotel.
    Then visit Sagaing, a retreat for Buddhist devotees with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Return to Mandalay.
    Overnight in Mandalay.
  • Day 6

    MANDALAY- MINGUN - MANDALAY by boat (B)

     Breakfast at Hotel.

    Morning excursion to Mingun, a village on the western bank of Ayeyarwaddy River.  Tour highlights include Settawya Pagoda with a marble foot print of Buddha; Pondawyapaya, nearby the river; Pahtodawgyi, an enormous pile of bricks is all that remains of King Bodawpaya's grandiose scheme; Mingun Bell, the world's largest ringing bell weighing  90 tons; Mingun Village; and Shinbume Pagoda, most attractive pagoda built in 1816 by King Bodawpaya's grandson in memory of one of his wives.
    After lunch, visit Maha Muni Buddha Image and handy crafts workshops such as making of gold leaves, woodcarvings, marble carvings etc. Then proceed to Shwe Kyaung, a monastery once King Mindon’s royal palace apartment for meditation, incomparable Atumashi monastery and ending up the day with Mandalay Hill, vantage point for the view of Mandalay.

  • Day 7

    MANDALAY – BAGAN by flight (B)

     Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Mandalay International Airport to continue our Myanmar holiday at Bagan, the Ancient Capital and Birth place of Myanmar Culture. Morning sightseeing begins with visit to the Nyaung Oo Market; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar satupas;  Wetkyi-in Gubyakkyi Temple, with fine mural paintings of jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings and visit lacquerware factory.

    Afternoon visit Myinkaba Gubyaukkyi Temple, a typical Mon style temple; Manuha Temple, a captured king's  impression of life in prison; Nanpaya Temple; an earliest masterpiece with its fine stone carvings; photo stop at Seinnyet Nyima Pagodas, a temple and a stupa with exquisite design and sunset from a suitable temple or pagoda.

  • Day 8

    BAGAN (B, D)

     Breakfast at the hotel.

    Morning sightseeing in South East Bagan featuring 13th century temples; Nandamanya; Thambula and Lemyethna Temples, noted for their fine mural paintings of Mahayanist character.
    Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross; and Thatbyinnyu, the highest of Bagan Temples; and Bypaya, a Pyu style pagoda on the brink of the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River.
    Dinner with traditional puppet show will be served at local restaurant.
    Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day 9

    BAGAN – YANGON by flight (B)

     Breakfast at the hotel.

    Morning transfer to airport and return to Yangon. Transfer to hotel for check in at hotel. Visit to Sule Pagoda for photo stop, Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott’s Market), closed on Mondays and Public holidays.
    In the evening, visit to colonial buildings at strand road and China Town, to enjoy night life of Yangon.

  • Day 10

    YANGON – BAGO KYAIKHTIYO by car (B)

     Breakfast at hotel.

    Morning transfer to Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) about 160km from Yangon (5/6hours drive), Visit en route traditional spirit shrines and Htauk Kyant War Cemetery of 27000 fallen soldiers of  Second World War. On the way visit Ancient Capital of Mon Nationals, Bago (Pegu). Tour highlights includes Shwemawdaw, one of the venerabe pagodas in Myanmar; Shwethalyaung reclining Buddha and four big Buddha Images of KyeikPun Pagoda.
     
    Reach Kimpun Base Camp, trail head to The Upper camp.
     
    After that take a truck to Hermit Hill through lightly wooded mountains (about 45 minutes). From the upper truck terminal, 15 minutes walk to the Golden Rock Hotel/ 50 minutes walk to Mountain Top Hotel. Check in Hotel. About 50 mins walk from Golden Rock hotel/ about 15mins walk from Mountain Top to the Kyaikhtiyoe, a huge boulder completely covered with gold leaves and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff.

  • Day 11

    KYAIKHTIYO – YANGON by car (B)

     Breakfast at hotel.

    Morning ride back to Yangon. Get to your hotel in the late afternoon. Free in the evening to enjoy your Myanmar holiday

    In the end of the Myanmar holiday your time at leisure until airport pick up for your International Departure Flight from Yangon International Airport

A. CANCELLATION POLICY:
The cancellation charges below refer to the non-transferable fee that is charged to the group member who has cancelled their tour:
  • More than 45 days before departure: No cancellation charge
  • Between 45 and 30 days before departure: 10% of total tour cost 
  • Between 30 days and 15 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost
  • Between 15 days and 7 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
  • Less than 7 days before departure: 90% of total tour cost
  • No-show at the airport on the day of arrival/departure: 100% of total tour cost

B. CHILDREN POLICY (land service only)
  • Child from 1- 4 yrs:  Free of charge if sharing bed with parents 
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 30% of adult price if sharing existing bed(s) with parents
  • Child from 5 – 6 yrs: charge 50% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 7 – 11 yrs: charge 75% of adult price if using extra bed/mattress in parents’ room
  • Child from 12 yrs up: pay as adult rate
